Youkoso (welcome), you have made it to Japan
Your sponsor for this leg of your journey is D-lish Scraps. If you bought the kit you may have already noticed some gorgeous washi tapes. These can be used to help you meet one of the criteria for this challenge.

The criteria to be include on your layout for this country are as follows:
1. Use a wet medium eg. paint, mist
2. Use washi tape, store bought or make your own.
3. Some sort of flora aside from flowers. Eg tree, branch, vine, grass etc.

2. Use at least 2 bright colours

Your sponsor for this leg of the race is Sam from Purple Pumpkin!
Those of you who purchased a kit may have noticed the gorgeous twine in there kindly supplied by Sam. It can be used to help you meet one of the criteria for this leg of your journey.

The criteria to be included on your layout for this country are as follows:
1. A large title on the page
2. Use something long and horizontal on the page. Eg ribbon, paper strips, washi tape, twine etc
3. Use something you would find in a garden or park.

Interesting criteria. I had all these thoughts going through my mind wondering what we would have to do.

oh wow! 'business' is one of my styles so I'm extremely happy with the 'left over' country of India LOL....Maree (in the sticks ) I did try to contact you but I've been working long and full time hours and my pm for some reason went to Sarah instead. all good. I've got my detour 1 LO finished, just need to photograph and upload....so I'm assuming we dont actually have to have anything in the LO that actually reflects the country (like India) Well done, specially the sponsors who have created amazing LO's to show us and popped into the gorgeous kits

Love it - happy I took the flight to Japan - like others I had all these ideas of what it would be and nope, got it all wrong, but that's in a good way!!!! Onto Japan and my layout..
