Your sponsor for this leg of the race is Sam from Purple Pumpkin!
Those of you who purchased a kit may have noticed the gorgeous twine in there kindly supplied by Sam. It can be used to help you meet one of the criteria for this leg of your journey.

The criteria to be included on your layout for this country are as follows:
1. A large title on the page
2. Use something long and horizontal on the page. Eg ribbon, paper strips, washi tape, twine etc
3. Use something you would find in a garden or park.

Please upload your page into the appropriate gallery folder by midnight Monday Sept 24th for the maximum 2 tickets in the major draw, or by the end of the race for 1 ticket!

I have a large title Cousins (with a smaller subtitle under it)
I used a strip of scalloped paper and a scalloped sticker across my page (as well as some PP twine)
I used a Pumpkin Patch button with a tree on it as something found in both gardens and parks.

I used the larger title for the main part of it!
I used chevrons going across page with messy stitching to take you to the photo & some washi tape along bottom of photo
I stamped butterflies which I hope you wold find in parks and garden!
Loving our trip so far!

my criteria for Russia is:

- I have used the filmstrip as a mask across the page as the horizontal criteria
- Large heading - RACE
- something found in a garden/park - have used the feather and 2 birds.

Here is my entry

I used the following:
1. A large title on the page - Floriade
2. Use something long and horizontal on the page.- Washi tape at top and bottom and behind photo
3. Use something you would find in a garden or park. - Chipboard flowers in bottom left corner

I have completed my page for Russia.
Big title= A DAUGHTER is forever
Horizontal element=tape & an edged sticker
park/garden=flowers- chipboard, sticker & metal, butterflies
I have also used the twine & the metal flower from my Amazing Race kit

Hi all; here is my challenge for Russia.
The horizontal strips are patterned paper across the top and bottom of the page.
the title is using large alphas
Something you would find in a garden; a bee, the clouds, the sun or the flowers.. Take your pick!

Here's mine!
I have used twine for the long and horizontal, flowers for something found in a park and a large title.

I'm a bit late loading, but here is my take on this challenge.. I had it finished in plenty of time, just needed to take a pick, and my DS left it sitting on the floor for my DD Emma to rip half the heart off the top! I had to replace the piece with the butterfly attached!

Finally able to upload pictures. While out on this adventure JA enjoyed drawing on the rock with another rock and he had fun collecting leaves.
