Announcement... Please Read!!!

It is with sadness and hesitation, but also excitement and relief that we inform you all that we will be closing the forum from February 2015.  Chloe and i (Vicki) put in a lot of time and effort each month, designing challenges, chasing sponsors, and trying to keep the chatter up in the forum, and we are finding we are not having the time to always be in here anymore, and are noticing that you all are dropping by less due to the lack of chatter also.  

All is not lost though, as from Feb 2015 we will be utilising the SBT50 blog (scrapbookingtop50oz.blogspot.com.au), which we have been giving a bit of a facelift over the last few days, to run our monthly challenge (and maybe a cyber crop every now and again if the challenges are being supported).  We will have a linky tool on the blog for you to load your layouts straight from your blog. If you don't have a blog, you will be able to load to our facebook page.

I have been putting off going down this route for some time now, as i have been a member of this forum since i first came across it in April 2009, and i think it was the end of that year that i took over the running of the forum (and also the attached topsites, which i closed a couple of years ago, due to the amount of work they took, and facebook basically being free advertising for businesses).  This forum has been my 'scrapping baby' for quite some time, and i will be sad to let it go, but having barely enough time to scrap lately, let alone run the forum efficiently, i think this is the best decision for all of us.  We hope you will continue to support our Scrapbooking Top 50 Aus challenges on the blog, and encourage your friends to do so too!

Now for some exciting news.... As we are going to a blog challenge format, Chloe and I have decided that we need some new DT members!!! Please consider joining our team...

Perfectly understandable. Time is getting away from everyone these days, especially the ladies with young children. Keeping the blog going is a great idea. Will try and look in more often.

Thank you for all your kind words ladies! It was a very hard decision to make, but i am really at ease with it now. I haven't had the time to fully dedicate it to the forum like it needs, and moving to the blog will take so much pressure off me.

You can still interact with us on facebook as well as the blog, and don't forget the DT call!! Open until Feb 9!!
