Just got my photos finished for the roadblock. The tourist was the hardest, but then daughter had a little accident with the garage roller door this afternoon, so she was more than willing to pose for the camera. She will be more careful in future when turning around in driveway. I will save the lol's till after I've shared the news with hubby.

Oh wow. Yet again I have been going through all the LOs on the threads. I really wish we could of had a way to comment individually on each LO....because there is sooooo much to say. Everyone has done such an amazing job on their LOs. I know picking winners has been very hard for all of us who have to choose. Picking a favourite LO is so individual. Sometimes it is the colours, sometimes the techniques, sometimes the photo, sometimes the title or the journaling or sometimes just because you know someone has tried something completely out of their comfort zone that makes you love it....if that makes sense. I hope you are all feeling a bit sorry for us in the background being that you have all made it so damn hard to choose. I still haven't done any scrapping.... Maybe one of these days.

Ant, I received my prize today (I did say WA post was on a different time zone to the rest of Australia) and I LOVE it all... thanks so much!!! Oh, and did I say I LOVE those pins? *phew* Just finished my Africa page.... I changed my mind at the last minute and used a photo we took this morning at McHappy Day... and it is of me... oh my... I think I have scrapped more photos of myself in this comp than I have over the entire year. Go figure! I am very musically-challenged though so it took me a good hour googling looking for a song... and then my daughter came to the rescue with a few suggestions...

We are now settling in to watch Telathon so I will hopefully get a little more creating done as the evening progresses.

Sue - I love how you used the pins on you Africa LO....perfect for that page.

Also - Happy Birthday....glad you had a great day. (even if it was a maccas!) Did you get them to bring you out a cake too.? LOL

Thanks Ant No cake ... it was a little manic down there... but an amusing place to randomly catch up with heaps of people we know. Small towns and "big events" are good that way.

Hi all. This is a quick fly by visit. Some of you already know - but I have guests here from Canada right now - so I have been very busy with that. These guests leave at the end of the week and then not even a week later my mil from Canada arrives for 3 months. In other words....not a whole lot of computer time at all.

I still haven't seen some of the recent LOs - but be sure that I will! They just might be late. I know that the race is coming to a close and I truly hope that some of you stick around after the race to chat and of course show us your amazing work. I am not sure if I can be around for the craft market or not - but if I can - it wont be till Sunday.....that is my free day.
