Final race challenge!!

As Sarah has mentioned, we decided to add an extra challenge for you all! We thought you would all need the last week to catch up on challenges that you may have missed, but you have all surprised us with how well you have gotten through all the challenges! Therefore we have decided to add a blind scrap for you! This challenge is optional, but will award you an extra ticket into the draw if it is completed by midnight Thursday Nov 29th!

Blind Scrap Ingredients!
4x6 landscape photo
cardstock
6 coordinated patterned paper (don't need full sheets) (all measurements in cm)
PP1 - 21cm x 10cm

PP2 - a. 21 x 9.5
b. 4.5 x 4
c. 2.5 x 3.5

PP3 - a. 21 x 5.5
b. 3.5 x 3.5
c. 5.5 x 3.5

PP4 - a. 17 x 5
b. 3.5 x 5

PP5 - 7 x 12

PP6 - a. 3.5 x 5.5
b. 3 x 4

Title, journalling and embellies will be at your discretion!

Gather your ingredients and i will be back later tonight to give you the directions. In the mean time, if you want to distress your pp, draw borders, mist cardstock etc, you can do that now!

The directions:

Step 1: As mentioned in the ingredients, distress, border, your pp and mist your cs if you want.

Step 2: Stick PP1 down 4cm from left side and 7cm from bottom of cs, running across the page.

Step 3: Stick PP2 (a) down 5.5 cm from left and 7cm from top of cs, running across the page.

Step 4: Stick PP3 (a) down 4.5 cm from left and 13cm from bottom of cs, running across the page.

Step 5: Stick PP4 (a) down 7cm from left and 16cm from top of cs, running across the page.

Step 6: Stick PP5 down 6.5cm from left and 10.5 from bottom of cs, running up and down on the page.

Step 7: Stick PP6 (b) down 6.5cm from left and 8cm from top, running up and down the page.

Step 8: Whoops, i missed a piece in the ingedients, i have another piece of PP2, so we will call it PP2 (d) that is 7cm x 3.5cm. This piece gets stuck down 17cm from the left and 10.5cm from the bottom, running across the page.

Step 9: Stick your 4x6 landscape pic square over top of steps 6, 7 and 8. This is approximately 7.5cm from the left and 11.5cm from the bottom.

Step 10: Stick PP3 (c) 4cm from the right, against the top edge of the cs, running across the page. Stick PP4 (b) 3cm from right and 1cm from top, running up and down. Stick PP2 (c) 2cm from top, 5cm from left, running across the page.

Step 11: Stick PP6 (a) 1.5cm from left, against the bottom edge of the cs, runing up and down. Stick PP2 (b) 2.5cm from left, against lower cs edge, running across the page. Stick PP3 (b) 2cm from left and 1.5cm from the bottom of cs.

Step 12: All your pp should now be stuck down. I hope you like it. You now need to add title, journalling and embellies how ever you would like! (I have a two word title in the bottom right corner which looks good! ) I can't wait to see all your layouts!

Great way to end the race, will have to it sit down and read the instructions carefully now. That is always my downfall.

you used 6b twice, so i'll just have to use 6a for the second piece

mine's already done and I'm fairly sure everything is in the right place

Vicki just wanted to check with you in step 10 all the pp are on the right side of the cs but pp2(c) is on the left. Should pp2(c) be on the left or right side of the paper.

I have finished mine now, decided to stick the piece on the right hand side. So now that the race is over what am I going to do?

Okay, so this is my first ever blind scrap. I fell behind on the challenges a few weeks back so thought this would be a quick one to do before the close off. It was a good way to use up some scrappy pieces of a collection and I think I have all in the right place. Will post up tomorrow.

i have been mia lately and seeing as it's the 29th i will have to give it a miss. might use it the next time im looking for a challenge though
