Detour 1!!!!

Time for a quick detour on your SBT50 Amazing Race! Before embarking on your first international flight, you need to make a detour to the post office to send a letter to your loved ones. It is a really windy day, and while trying to post your letter, it has blown out of your hand! Scrap a layout or 3 card set with either a postage stamp, envelope or some hidden journalling to get your letter sent to your loved ones and get you back in the race.

Here is my sample LO (Ant):



And of course - my hidden journalling is hidden in the envelope when it is closed - the journalling is in the form of a letter to my kids about how their Dad and I met and how in the 'old' days we needed to use a phone (plugged into a wall) and good old letters because email wasn't really common back then. Every letter we wrote was sealed with a loving kiss.



In order to be awarded 1 ticket (Detours are only worth 1 ticket if submitted on time!) into the major draw your submission needs to meet the criteria and be uploaded into the Detour 1 album by midnight (SA time) Monday Sept 17!

just wanting to check criteria please...LO including either a postage stamp, envelope or some hidden journalling ...any colours or other contents??

It is entirely up to you what else you do or don't add to your layout, you just need to ensure you have at least one of the 3 things listed on your layout!

gee this could be a bit tricky

great LO and challenge will have to think about this one a little

hmmm, hopefully I'll have some time to get this one done!

prob a silly question but does the race kit only include embellies for the stops and not bits for these detours?

My LO is in progress - just got to detour to the lounge to watch Dr Who before I can finish it

I had one started too but it is much like Ant's so I am going to start again to give a different perspective on the challenge!

I would love to try to get some cards done for this one. Does each card have to be different? And, conversely, do they have to be similar enough to look like part of a set?

Yes sue-maree, they must be a 3 card set. All different but all similar and all meeting the criteria!

Wow - there are already some gorgeous LOs up for this challenge. I am especially loving everyones envelopes.....I wish mine looked so good. :/
