Red white and blue to me mean Australia - I know corny... They especially bring me back to Australia Day this year where the kids really got into the patriotic spirit and insisted on dressing up - I've a special photo that I'll be scrapping for this theme - it always makes me smile.. I have all 4 kids looking at the camera, smiling and they were genuinely bhappy and patriotic that day - happy memories Smile

The first thing I think of when I hear a colour combo is yep scrapping! This week those colours are reminding me of the Bo Bunny Block Party papers I have just got and can't wiat to use.

Reminds me of when i was a girl guide and we had stalls at a parade of countries all over the world. Our stall was France and I have this amazing photo of my mum and I all dressed up in the daggiest french outfits. So corny but it was such a happy time for us during a time of turmoil in our lives. I will definately have to make time to scrap this one!

Hehe, so that i would have a different answer to all the aussie ones, i asked DH and he said to me...'red, white and blue, the girls like you..' and i said 'what?'! He tells me this was some type of a ryhme or something from when he was younger, but he couldn't remember anymore of the words!! Smile

I am surprised no one has answered Kathie's avatar pic! That too fits the colour scheme quite nicely! LOL.

Red, white and blue...
The first colours I saw when my tiny baby girl first opened her eyes and smiled at me...
The red of her sweet pouty lips, the white of her pale porcelain skin, and the blue of her eyes that I just wanted to swim in to...
I can still remember how the moment made my heart skip a beat.
