Re: 14 / 04 - Product Giveaway
I am going to be different here and say the day I met my Hubby! Who knew that he would impact my life the way that he did? In fact - I think that is a story for Challenge 3!
Re: 14 / 04 - Product Giveaway
Other than meeting & marrying hubby & having our two gorgeous kiddies, my life changing moment was heading off to spend eight months travelling the world with hubby. It was AMAZING visiting so many places & cultures and meeting so many different people. A once-in-a-lifetime experience that we thoroughly loved - and secretly hope to be able to do again one day!!!!

OOOH... Life changing moment. Unfortunatley it is a sad one.
2 days before xmas 2009 my 8 year old nephew passed away. Needless to say we had a bad xmas and new year.
My heart pounds as I'm writing this.
He suffered from Muscular Dystrophy since he was 1. We thought we had him at least till he was 16. Unfortunatly he died very suddenly infront of my brother and his young family.
His 9th birthday is the 27th of this month.
This of course changed alll our lives and affected people from all over the state as he was a well known little fighter.
This year I made a pact to myself that I would lose weight and walk the 12kms City to Bay fun run for little Kyle as he never had the chance to walk and was in a wheelchair for most of his short life.
If I don't manage to complete the walk, I want to get to my goal weight, loosing a total of 40kgs. I have so far lost 11kgs.
So... that is my life changing moment.
ps.. thanks for letting me share this girls.. It's a tuffy to talk about, but he was a beatiful little boy that certainly deserves to be remembered.
RIP KYLE.

wow Bailey that's truly sad BUT congrats on the weight loss so far & your determination to do the City to the Bay!
I've had 2 life changing moments - they both impacted my life to such an extent it saddens me & it's very hard to share. My Uncle commited suicide when I was 9 years old. He intended on killing his eldest daughter but she escaped. My dad was in jail for 6 months for breaking restraining orders. Try going to high school where they taunt you for your fathers stay in jail. Kids can be cruel.

Re: 14 / 04 - Product Giveaway
other than the expected having kids and meeting Brian the most life changing moment would be moving to Victor.
I was living on KI and was definitely in a rut, probably depressed too. I didn't care about my appearance nor my house and I could see my life staying exactly as it was forever and I didn't want that. Mum mum had moved to Victor about 18 months before me so I knew I had her support. PLus my good friend had moved ack here (her home town) so I made the plunge.
The best thing I have ever done, Without the move I would never have met Brian and had the babies. Nor would I have had the help I have needed with Randalls ADHD and Aspergers traits diagnosis'.

the day i had stephanie it changes yours life so much when you have a child, for the better
you have to look after someone else just not you now.
was really scary when she stopped breathing for a bit her first week after she was born, she has the sleep apopea thing when she takes shallow breaths then a big one.
her dad has it and grandad but not anya.

Most life changing experience would be having my first child - from being independent to being a Mummy and responsible for another life!

Re: 14 / 04 - Product Giveaway
Firstly mine would definately be the birth of my two beautiful babies and soon to be third and secondly changing career paths, I went from someone shy who was frequently walked over to someone who doesn't take poo from anyone. Can I say poo here? I was going to use another word but I censored it

Thanks for sharing everyone.
I guess one of mine would be the divorce of my parents, because who knows what direction life would have taken if that hadn't of happened?

Re: 14 / 04 - Product Giveaway
I hear ya Sue you just don't know ah?- mine would definitely be winning $10,000 on a scratchy ticket back in 1990. It got me to London, where I meet my now ex husband but if it wasn't for that money I wouldn't have the 2 angels I have now!
