Today i would like to know what your favourite clothes were from the 50's to 80's!! Entries need to be in by midnight tonight!!

I must say for me, my favs must have been the happy pants, and the fluro overall shorts (shorts with a bib)!!

Nah....do you remember the Miller Shirts? Especially the ones with lurex thread through them? I loved them!! They were checked and in a soft cotton/polyester blend, they were great and a real status symbol in my day!!! Fav colours would have been the oranges with the gold thread!!!

I loved the overall shorts as well.

Mine used to be my brown Oxford bags. Don't know if they had them out here. They were wide trousers with big pockets down the sides. I loved them.

I was a ra-ra skirt girl! Not so much the balloon skirt....

i had some black tights that had a fluro skirt on top.
lovely fluro pinks, yellows etc

The singlets with Def Leppard and Bon Jovi on them --- you know those hard rock bands.

My favourite clothes from the 80's were my Fido Dido crop top, ra-ra skirt, low waisted dresses, denim overall shorts, Max Headroom singlet, my Ray Bans (they're soooo back and hot right now!!!) in white and black, red white and blue deck shoes, red legwarmers and Bonds polo shirts (especially in mint green).

My favourite clothing of all from these decades would be from the 50s though, although I was born in the 70's, I love the 50s fashion for the "New Look" by Christian Dior styled dresses plus so much more (I could go on and on!!!).

Oh I loved the black harem pants I shared with my sister! LOL They had a silver thread through them and a sleeveless top attached..they were so much fun to wear..and I ALWAYS had a good night when I wore them! LOL

I don't really remember this, but mum said that when i was almost 3 all i wanted to wear was a big floppy straw hat and a little "sarrong" which I think was a scaf. With nothing underneath! It was a favorite around the house!

I think my favourites were my ripped jeans and the fluro tops. I also LOVED my pixie boots (remember them?) And I loved banana clips! I loved heaps of other stuff too but was never really a trend setter!

I went through a few phases - legwarmers, fluro socks (and everything else), BIG dangly earrings, jelly bangles, ripped jeans, stonewash denim jacket (which I decorated with studs, and patches & badges of my favourite hard rock bands), and my Swatch watch!

OMG, this just gets better each day! Mine would be anything fluoro, but particularly the socks. Sue and I used to wear 2 pairs and fold them down to show BOTH colours, ie. the pink/green combo, or blue/orange! I also had a purple and white striped outfit with a ra-ra skirt that was my absolute favourite. And we both had red leg warmers too!

I forgot my plastic earrings!!! I had (and still have) a huge collection of mostly plastic bright hypo earrings! Some were fluro, one pair were Cabbage Patch Kids, and I thrashed my black lightning bolt ones!!!

I had lightning bolt ones too!!! And I also had some that had palm trees and pineapples dangling inside a big hoop...HOT STUFF!!!
