Challenge # 4 - Lets get Technique-al Empty Challenge # 4 - Lets get Technique-al

Post by Vicki Fri Jul 31, 2009 12:31 pm

The technique we will be highlighting in this challenge is sewing!!! But not just any sewing, you must use at least two of the following methods on your layout: Machine Stitching, Hand stitching or Faux Stitching. You can use any combination, but we must be able to see at least two types on your layout!!

Now, it would be too easy if we left it at that, so we would like to see ribbon or lace attached to you layout with stitching, and thats not all, your title must be 'stitched' to your page!! Smile Good Luck!!

All entries must be uploaded to the 'technique-al challenge' folder in the forum gallery by midnight September 2nd.

Vicki

I love stitching on layouts! Don't do it often enough though. Nothing like a challenge to hopefully get me started again! Smile

:lol!: Megan! I got my Nana to do mine!
I was supposed to be making a pair of boardshorts but stuffed them up so badly, my Nana stepped in and did them all over again for me.
(The funniest part was, she was not happy when her shorts got a B!)

Post by Sharonscrapper Sun Aug 02, 2009 3:56 pm

Too funny ladies! My sewing machine which was very old blew up last year in October and I just haven't gotten around to replacing it. I will have to do this one by hand and Faux. It could be very interesting how it turns out that is for sure. Smile

Its not as hard as you think Melissa, if you can draw dashes in a straight line, then you have done fake sewing, and the hand stitching only need to be as difficult as stitching a few crosses on your layout!! Smile

faux just means to fake it, so hand drawn stitching!!! Smile You shouldn't have any trouble with that!! Smile
