Ant's colour challenge!
(Loaded on Ant's behalf)
Hi ya all.
I can not believe that another month is over and we are well and truly getting through the year now and it is now Spring. Where has the time gone?
This month I have decided to set you all a very simple colour challenge. Now I didn't want to be totally predictable and go with greens and yellows - so I opted for something a little less traditional. This month I want to see a LO with blue and red as the main focus. The blue to represent the gorgeous blue skies that we are starting to see more of and the reds to represent my favourite flower - the rose.
I don't care what the percentage of the colours you use are...I just want blue and red to be the dominant colours in your LO. Remember.....blue is a colour that has a very broad scope.....you can work with the palest of blues like me (in fact mine is almost grey.....almost) or you can work with the royal blues or the dark, dark navy blues.....it is totally up to you.
That is it....nothing else. Just a nice simple challenge to get us kick started for the month. Here is my sample LO.
Hope you enjoy giving this challenge a go.
Enteries for this challenge need to be uploaded no later than 12 midnight on the 30th of September.
The winner of this challenge will win a $15 Voucher from Red Earth Scrapping -
Hope you enjoy.

I have started work on this already! Didn't think I'd be able to work these colours. But I'm working it! Yeah baby!
Re: Ant's colour challenge!
Great colours and awesome example! I wish that we were starting OUR Spring. We are at the beginning of our Fall. The nights are cooler now and the days are getting a little shorter. Other than that, it still seems like summer because the temperatures are still high during the day but the leaves will start turning colour soon and the rakes will be coming out again.

Re: Ant's colour challenge!
So we are allowed to use other colours as red and blue are the main ones?

Judith i would gather from this... 'I just want blue and red to be the dominant colours in your LO' .....that Ant doesn't mind if you use small amounts of other colours, as long as red and blue are the dominant colours!
Re: Ant's colour challenge!
I did mine on my son-in-law and and grandson as a Father's Day page. I reversed the primary colours from your example to red with light blue and navy (scrolls). I liked this challenge so much that I did a two-pager which isn't my usual method.
