Today I got my copy of SM in the mail with this years Masters and their projects. Has anyone else seen it? What do you think? Who are your favourites? Who surprised you for not getting through?

I wasn't as impressed with the work as I have been in years before...but in saying that...I love Kerryn's work and was surprised when she didn't make it last year, so I was very happy to see she had this year. I noticed a few honourable mentions of people that I would of bet money on winning if I had of know they entered - for example I would of thought for SURE that Nicole Pomeroy would of made it. I also love Beth Jarrat's Work and was sad that she missed out again this year. I hope she tries again next year.

Any way - just wondering what everyones thoughts were.....

I have had a flick through this afternoon, but need to sit down for a more detailed look tomorrow. The main reason I bought it was coz my gorgeous friend Bridgette Hatton was selected as a master and I am soooo happy for her! Very Happy

Like you, I would have put money on Nic P getting in, and I would have also loved to have seen Kim Jeffress (my fellow HBS DT'er, who has been chosen for the 2011 SM Creative Team though) or Lou Nelson, as I just love both their styles. I also love Kat Glossop's work (bright & funky) and Fran Tynan's stuff, so was happy to see both of them chosen.

Sad Nup haven't got mine yet. Might have to ring my local and get them to save it for me seeing as pay day isn't for a week
