Challenge 3: Sue's Inspiration Challenge!

My monthly challenge for you all is an inspiration challenge with a twist...YOU are going to supply your own inspiration! For this challenge you will need to choose an item of clothing to inspire your layout!

The item of clothing you choose does not necessarily have to be your own, it could belong to one of your children, hubby...anyone! BUT you will need to photograph the item and post a picture of it here for everyone to see.

The item you choose will also need to HEAVILY influence your layout. That is, the colours, elements, design, etc. (For example, it is not enough to take a picture of a pink shirt and then simply include a pink flower on your layout, I would expect pink to be a dominant colour.) It must be clearly visible how the item has inspired your layout.

For my layout, you can see I was inspired by the colours and the splattered background. I also incorporated the crown from the print by using a background paper with crowns on it. The bling is represented in the flower centres and also the rhinestone chain, which has been twisted and curled like the scroll on the shirt. I have also used 2 heart shapes to represent the word heart.

Entries for this challenge are due midnight, 31st August. Layouts pics should be posted in the gallery, whilst a small photo of your item of clothing should be posted here in this thread. (Please try to post a small pic of your LO in the thread as well, so we can see your inspiration at a glance.)

LOL i will be doing the same tomorrow Becci, unless i get some energy tonight to paint so it can dry over night and i can scrap tomorrow!!

Mine should be dry now, only splatters at this stage, until I get to the other alphas lol

Damn paint and cold weather! Got everything ready to go on the LO just waiting for the background to dry. Still couldn't finish it even if it was though as I ned to do some stitching on it and that means borrowing mums sewing machine.
Oh well might be bed time then
