Hi Charmane
My class is at the community centre on Ferrers Street every Wednesday 12.00 - 3.00. Sorry no, I'm not on facebook...is that the only way to get details of catchups?

Re: Overrun by Mt Gambier gals!
Thankyou Charmane for the info. I appreciate it. Would I have to register or book in for the scrapping day, and can I bring a friend? Is there a fee for the day, etc etc?
Also, thankyou Sarah for your words of welcome. If that's your bubby in the photo, he or she is just beautiful!

I have been telling Brian that we do need to stop at least over ngiht in the mount when we do the Great Ocean Road end august / start September so I can at least have a cuppa with the girsl (and hopefully a couple of new bubbas!).
He wasn't that keen (urgh another scrappy friend men!) but now his ex SIL wants to catch up and she lives in the Mount so looks like I can twist his arm Yay!!!!!

Re: Overrun by Mt Gambier gals!
Thankyou Treens for your welcome. Not sure how many years you and I will have to live here before we're classed as locals lol. Oh well, it's lovely here anyhoo, and I think my husband and I will be here for quite some time.
Regarding location of the community centre: do you know where the RSL is (cnr Ferrers and Sturt Streets)? The comm centre is basically right behind the RSL on Ferrers.
Don't know about showing my work on this website - to be honest, I've no idea how to do that! Will you be going to the scrapping day Charmane mentioned? It'd be great to meet you!

Hi Becci
Had a great chuckle at your message. Thankyou for your words of welcome.
I hope you can stay for a night (or several) sometime soon too. I know what you mean about your husband. Fortunately my husband is very supportive and interested in my hobby - however, I've recently gotten our daughter-in-law into scrapping, and our son just rolls his eyes and mutters such things as "craptacular"... Heh heh!!!

Re: Overrun by Mt Gambier gals!
Bahaha craptacular love it. I think Brian thougth I was going to make an album for Ethan (our eldest together but third youngest) and then that was it. Well 2.5 years later, eldest boys room turned into my own scrap room (he moved out a year ago) and almost every day and lots of daydreaming about scrapping later......
We'll only be staying ovenight at most. He would rather we got to Portland the first night but after travelling to the Mount with littlies twice before I think a stop at the Mount is a great idea

Hi Lorraine,
I am the owner of Top 50 and am also in the Mt, lol!! I know where the comm centre is, but didn't know there was scrapping done there! (Treens, it must be right beside the Child and Youth Health!!)
Ayway, i am glad you have found us, and hope we can all meet up for a scrap soon, but in the mean time, i hope you will have a go at our challenges, and when it comes time to load your layouts, you can shout out and somebody will be able to help!!

Re: Overrun by Mt Gambier gals!
Hi Lorraine!
I don't live anywhere near the Mount (I'm on the Sunshine Coast in Qld), but I do 'live' on here quite a bit - I am sure my post count will back me up there! (No comments from the peanut gallery thanks - yes you, Vicki & Treens! LOL) Actually probably a good thing I live so far away, not sure Mount G would let me in!!!
Anyway, a very warm welcome to you and I hope you will join in with some of our challenges here and share some of your work with us!
(You should take a list of our challenges along to your scrap group and see if they might like to join in with us too!)
Looking forward to getting to know you!

Re: Overrun by Mt Gambier gals!
Hello ladies, and thankyou all for your kind words of welcome! Our computer's been off the air for the past week or so, which is why I haven't responded before this - but it's good to be back on deck.
Can any of you Mount G ladies supply me with details of tomorrow's scrapping day (2 - 11pm Sat 26th March) at the Baptist Church? PLEEEEEZE?? I really want to go but I don't know if one has to be registered with the group, what the cost is for the day, if one brings their own projects to do, or is it a teaching day, etc etc... Thankyou so much.
