Re: Product giveaway #1
I have sooo many faves!!! But my super dooper fave is MARILYN MONROE!!!
She was sooo gorgeous and very clever marketing wise too. Her persona was brilliant - the breathy voice, wiggly horizontal walk, her lips moved like something else, her whole image of platinum blonde hair, red lips, beauty spot and hourglass curves is often imitated, but never matched... she also combined her sexuality with a childlike innocence. There will never be another like her.
Elton John said it best in his ORIGINAL song "Candle in the Wind"...
"You had the grace to hold yourself, while those around you crawled".

I have to say Clint Eastwood. He was quite sexy in his day, and a tough boy too! Gravel in his voice, sharp shooter, what more can I say! And for an old dude now, he's still pretty cool.

Oh wow this is a hard one. I love Sean Connery and have watched nearly every movie he has made even the obscure ones. I love John Wayne especially in the movie The Quiet Man. I also love Cary Grant in the movie Roman Holiday.
Why do I love them well Sean Connery is just gorgeous and his voice you just can't go past it. John Wayne although a strong character always had that soft side. Gregory Peck is just so suave and so good looking and a great actor to boot.
By the way the stamp sets are great!
Take Care

Oh my, it is a tough one!!! I'm tossing up between Katherine Hepburn or Doris Day - I love them both!!! I grew up on the old black and whites - Very strict Christian upbringing, only the golden oldies were Ok (that also included "cowboy and indians" so go figure haha)
I think I'll have to say Doris Day is winning out...
Why... Hmmm I love her classic beauty, her effortless talent for both acting and song (I'm quite partial to musicals ) I absolutely adore Calamity Jane - That is so me... clumsy hahaha
Oh and so many classic songs sung by her and in her movies... Que Sera Sera (whatever will be will be) -oh dear, stuck in my head now haha Ummm By the light of the silvery moon - I remember my nan singing that when she was rocking one of us or her other grandchildren or great grandchildren - Oooh the memories!!!
I guess she is simply classic - but brings back such warm and fond memories that will forever be with me now my nan has passed - Nothing like a good old sing song and B&W movie to bring the memories and sentiments rushing back
BTW - thanks for this question - it's made me remember some things that I had forgotten or stored away in the memory banks...

Re: Product giveaway #1
For me it would be Audrey Hepburn.......just so classical, and how many of us have wanted at some stage to look just like "Holly"? So many gorgeous photos, great movies and no scandals.....these young movie stars could learn a thing or two....or more!

...same here! Steve McQueen would have to be my pick, think it's a bit of a sentimental favourite...I remember watching the movie many times with my dad as a kid, he was a huge fan.
