Sorry Sue & Becci a pre-made diecut is still cs/pp's, you will have to think
of another way to do a journal spot

So how can you use a die cut then? I think that if it's already made by a manufacturer then it should be allowed

Acetate would work, or stamp directly onto your cs, or use a chippy shape....... these are just the ways that came to mind for me!!

Guess I see cardstock as Bazzil for example and die cuts completely different.

If die cuts aren't going to be allowed then I think the criteria might need to be edited for those that might not read the rest of the convo

Can I assume that journalling stickers will be ok? Sorry not done one of these before, lots of ????'s

Well I am going to step in here Becci and say that yes, stickers should be fine, because they are neither cs or pp are they???

Yep, stickers should be fine!! I think as long as your journalling is amongst your embellie cluster you should be fine!!

Yes, I suppose a sticker will be fine, but I think a stamp/acetate would have been better for the journalling box.
The 4th criteria is getting everyone a bit confused because of the die-cut/journalling box mentioned

Think I'm still going to do my orginial idea as I'm really liking it atm but it just won't qualify for the challenge.
Will have to ponder over what to do for this one a little more.

I have sooooo many ideas running around in my head for this challenge right now....I think a visit to Spotlight is in order....(but I promised DH I would watch my spending.) Can't wait to get started, but will have to put it on hold as I am off to Shepp for the day.... . Would prefer to stay snuggled up in bed today.

LOL, no question is a dumb question, if you don't ask, you will never know!!

An embellishment cluster is just as it sounds, having your embellishment all grouped (clustered) together. You can see an example here on this layout of Kathie's where all the flowers are grouped together! HTH!!

Woohoo i have finished this one early this month! Wasn't so hard once i got going! Now i just need some fine weather and my sick DS not hanging off my hip and i will be able to take a pic and upload it for you all to see!!

WTG, Vicki, can't wait to see it . I'll be starting mine tomorrow , I just have to look for the right stamp,& will upload it into the gallery on Saturday

I am trying to get mine started, but the first part of it involves my DH doing something for me. He tried yesterday buy failed miserably and forgot today. Maybe tomorrow??????
