Deb's "Extreme Makeover" Challenge
Welcome to the “Extreme Makeover” challenge. This challenge was inspired by the makeover type reality TV shows like Extreme makeover (the one where contestants get a whole body and style makeover) and also extreme makeover: home edition
So taking our inspiration from these shows, for this challenge you are required to give a supply or product a makeover. You will need to use this supply or product in a different way than it is originally intended.
This month we are proud to have Deb, one of our forum members, as a Guest designer.
Deb was crowned Queen of our Scraplift Madness comp last month
Deb has scrapped an awesome example layout to inspire us all. Thank you Deb
" In my example layout, I have given 3 products/supplies a makeover.
1. Instead of throwing away the alpha packaging, I used it as a layer behind my photo to provide some dimension. I also placed some stickers behind some of the letters.
2. I used some October Afternoon journaling spots and created a banner along the bottom of my photo.
3. I made a butterfly using 2 wooden heart embellishments and added that to my banner.
I hope this has inspired you to look at your supplies/products in a new way"
Entries for the challenge are to be uploaded into the correct folder in the gallery before midnight SA time July 28th
The winner of this challenge will receive a $15 voucher to spend at The Scrapbook Store with FREE postage!!!!

Re: Deb's "Extreme Makeover" Challenge
Very happy I also managed to finish this challenge today as well. I really enjoyed this. My Makeover was to use the plastic sheet that held a Kaisercraft Pearl Flourish as a template to stitch a flourish onto my layout. I also used the backing sheet for a pack of Prima Flowers at the back of my photo. And I used my Tree Punch to create leaves for effect as well. Very happy with this layout and another one down for Lakeisha's 21st album. Just about to upload to the gallery. Thanks Deb!
