Ant's city living challenge

Although cities, when you get up close and personal are loaded with colour - when you look at a typical western world city from a distance - colour seems to be something that is lacking.

So, for this challenge we would like you to create a LO taking some inspiration from this picture. Your LO should be mainly in browns and/or greys with just a splash of colour. You should also include some element of movement up the page or a vertical object to represent the highrise buildings so common to big cities.

This challenge really forced me to think outside the square and I knew exactly where I could get inspiration from....the very talented Jennifer Johner at http://www.dearestsomeday.com. She is someone I have been stalking for years.

Although I have always loved her LOs (and her house style, which is actually how I found her) I have never even tried anything like she does, but this challenge was perfect to give it a go.

This was a coloured piece of paper, but i made it grey toned. I am so happy this challenge got me to use this paper!! I loved it but didn't think id ever use it!
