May CC Chat!!

I bet you all thought we had forgotten about the crop this month, but we haven't! lol! We just decided to hold it a bit later, with mothers day and everything occuring this month!

We have some fun 'Casino' challenges for you all this month!!

So be warned, you have only a couple of days to get the monthly challenges knocked over so you can have fun with the crop challenges!

I'm so flat out this week with rehearsals for a concert on Saturday to raise funds to build a primary school in Africa so I won't be able to crop until next week. Tonight is the only night I'm home so I will attempt to make it in for the fun tonight. Have fun if something comes up and I don't make it.

I'm here, I'm just home from a few days in Brisbane - I went to the Wicked Princess Retreat and spent a couple of days with my sister - it was fabulous!

The gallery folders are all up now!

It is late Sunday morning here and I am watching the broadcast of the Queen's 1000 boat flotilla pageant up the Thames. The Jubilee has been awesome. The pictures along the Thames are beautiful with very old architecture mixed in with more modern buildings.

I finally have all the materials ready to lay out and glue my first CC challenge. We have had several overcast cooler and rainy days here in Michigan and it has put a damper on the regular late Spring planting and yard work. I am glad to get working on all the very cool CC challenges since I have not done much scrapping in the last few months. I hope everyone is having a great day and are able to find lots of scrapping time!

I NEED to scrap tonight! I'm not getting nearly enough time lately! Prob if I cleaned off my desk so I didn't have to scrap on the floor, I could get more done! Lol! Might make that tomorrow's job! Tonight the floor will do! Lol! Which ch to start with tho!!???

Good luck Vicki! No scrapping for me tonight but I'm going to have a go at Sarah's challenge tomorrow night. I've chosen some nice bright supplies and photos to match

I have my second LO and the materials all ready to work on tonight. All the CCs are awesome. I love the fact that the challenges are well thought out and fun to do. I have been to crops that run over a three day weekend but have 10 to 14 challenges. There was no time to be creative or to really enjoy scrapping. Thank you all for the awesome crops! I hope that everyone is enjoying themselves as much as I am.

The weather is starting to warm up again after a cold and rainy period/ Graduation is quickly coming as the school year is ending for us. I just finished watching the end of Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee with the Thanksgiving church service. It has been a wonderful four days!

I agree Karen - the challenges are fabulous. I've just finished my third one and am hoping to squeeze in the card tomorrow afternoon. It 's so wet and windy here all the sports grounds have been closed - so no running kids around tomorrow afternoon Maybe scrapping instead!

Iwant to scrap.. but... MY puter has a bug and keeps shutting on and off so i dont dare start a layout in PSP. Im using my 20 yrs olds puter and need to find my programs so I can add it to this puter.

Thanks Karen and Ali for your kind words about the challenges. I know that we really try hard to make the challenges challenging and inspiring but also doable. The idea of doing more challenges each month is extremely daunting to me....especially because I am typically a very slow scrapper.

It is Friday morning for us. Sarah, to answer your question, I have finished two challenges and have time tonight to do the last two. I figure with the time difference that I must have mine posted by mid morning on my Saturday.

I knew there was something I wanted to this week .... I'll try and make a start on some of these tonight, although I'm usually a slow scrapper too so I'll see how it goes
