Sarah's April fools challenge

It’s April fools day!
Do you like to play April fools jokes on people? Or have you had some played on you?
I had two doozies played on me last year!

So this challenge is all about trickery or surprise on our scrapbooking pages.


Criteria:
I want to see on your page an element of “foolery” “trickery” or “surprise”
Examples include; hidden elements, faux stitching, or “peek a boo” elements (see examples below)

In addition to that I want you to include some ribbon, lace or trim of some sort.







This is my example layout:




For my layout I have tried to fool you all into thinking that I crocheted around the edge of my page. But in fact I just grabbed some crocheted lace and folded it over the edge of my page : )

I have also included another surprise element. My journaling is hidden behind my title letters, I created little flaps of paper which lift up.






I have included the layouts below just to show examples of "peek a boo" techniques

I have been including “peek a boo” elements on some of my recent pages here are some examples of this technique, for your inspiration if you chose to a do a “peek a boo”

“Peek a boo” lace around page edges
