March CC Chat!!

OOOHHHH CC time again!! Are you excited?? Have you seen the theme?? 'Lets Shape Up!' what could that possibly mean??!!

Yep I'm excited! And certainly intrigued by the theme!

I am hoping for the use of different shapes but exercise would be a great theme area too. It is almost the first day of Spring here and after our Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine candy and Easter soon to come, I could use some exercise to get rid of the winter weight!

Lol Karen, well it is only a little over 24hrs and we will all know exactly what this theme is all about!!

I am very glad it is a public holiday here tomorrow, so i will hopefully have a little more time to get myself prepared! Need to whip up an example for Sue's challenge tonight!

Hi again, everyone! Before taking a short nap this morning, I gathered my materials for Ant's cc challenge and selected my photos. I have been excitedly waiting all my busy day to get started scrapping! I just finished dinner and will be working while you girls sleep. I have to stay ahead of the game since the midnight deadline on your Sunday is at 8 am on my Saturday!

Lol good work Karen! I am just getting Emma down for a nap, then I will get the other 2 chs up!

I've been to the gym and now I'm shaping up for a night of scrapping Great challenges, just trying to work out which one to start on.

Its so nice here!! Spring is about here, so ill be walking to get into shape.. right after I scrap...

The challenges are awesome. Love them all! Great to see so many people getting their scrap on for the CC already!

Lol Karen, i haven't forgotten! I am going to clean out the forum gallery and see if we can use that again so we can leave love for everybody! We had school sports day in 32 degree heat yesty tho, so we were all stuffed when we got home, and i am about to head off for the school run in a moment, but i will have a play when i get home!

Well I am finally back since I last posted on Thursday. We have had 3 tornadoes in Michigan starting with winds and thunder storms, They were all between Terri and I in the state. I had technical problems which were just fixed when the repairman tightened up some outside wires. Thank you for getting the gallery ready while I was absent, Vicki!

Oh wow Karen sounds like a bit of a scary time there. Hope everyone is ok.

Thank you for your concern. Sarah. We have just been getting the storms and winds but no tornado here. It has been unseasonably warm and then a cold front comes through and makes tornado conditions. Many of the areas that have tornado conditions in the Spring, have had several hit and destroy large areas already this year with several deaths. But this is early! This is usually not an event to worry about until late April or May. March usually gives us some of the worst snow storms dropping tons of snow but this year has been very strange!

I finally finished my third challenge for the crop tonight. I started gathering the materials and photos on Thursday and set most of it up last night but didn't feel like getting the glue out until tonight.Since it has started being warm here, I have been working in the yard and cleaning up the garden planning for the later Spring.

Awesome work getting them all done so quickly Karen. I have been in and left love on your layouts- they looks great.

Thank you, Sarah! The crop was tons of fun and just what I have needed. I loved the challenges esp because there were some requirements that I could use more practice doing.

It is a second beautiful day here and will be close to 20 degrees. The average is only around 8 at this time of year. It is an early Spring for us and right now it is almost 11 am Sunday morning. I hope that all of you are having pleasant dreams as you wait for Monday morning. I will be working in the yard this afternoon. Tomorrow morning (Monday) will be exciting for Terri and I since her daughter (Brit) will be going in for a C-Section with her second baby. The first was a girl (Armonie) and this one is a boy (Keaton). Wish us the best! I will post pix as soon as I get them. I will be visiting probably next week to see everyone and for my grandson's (Elijah) birthday party on March 31st.

It is 7:30 am here. My granddaughter is just starting the C-Section procedure. Big sister is waiting for her new brother to arrive. I will post his picture as soon as it is sent.

Oh how exciting!! I was just about to ask you how it was going!!
