Vicki's 'Place Your Bets' Challenge!

When it comes to betting on race day, how do you decide which horse you will place your bets on? For me, its all about the colours of the Jockey's silks!! If a jockey is wearing pink, they will generally get my bet! lol!

That being said, my challenge for you all this month is basically a colour challenge!! You get to place your bets by picking which silks colours you like best, then scrap your layout using those colours as your main colours (other colours can be used, but your jockey's colours MUST be prominent!) And seeing as we are place bets on the colours of the silks, i would also like to see some fabric on your page (this can be in the form of a handmade embellishment! )

Here is my example, obviously i have gone with the pink and purple! lol! (this is much brighter IRL but was overcast when i took the pic! )

Shock, What not use the pink combo, Sue, you did say you were feeling unwell, but I didn't think you were THAT sick,

This one is a work in progress. Layed it all out just got to stick down and photograph tomorrow!

Yellow is one of the hardest colors for me to use on a page so I chose the yellow and green silk shirt. I used a piece of dark green fabric in the making of my flower.

Cool Mom! The donkey was named pedro and he "sang" along with the farmer!

mine, using orange and yellow top and black strap as my colours. the background paper is fabric!!!
