Chall 3: Sue's Chippie & Alphas Challenge!

For my challenge, it's time to bust some of those old pieces of chipboard and left-over alphas you've got hiding in the depths of your stash! Mix up your left-over alphas, find ways to alter them, or use them in different ways. Same with your chipboard - ink it, paint it, cover with paper or ribbon, distress it...just USE it!!! That's all my challenge to you is - I just want to see lots of old / forgotten / neglected chippies & alphas being used on your layout!

Here is my sample LO...



For my sample LO, I used an old chipboard alphas negative with glimmermists to create my background, then used a variety of methods to alter my chipboard pieces (ink, paint, pp & distressing, Washi tape). My title alphas were a pack of old Kaiser ones that had lots missing, so I cut them up and stuck some of them together to get the letters I needed. I kept any extra embellishments to a bare minimum, just so I could challenge myself to complete the LO using mainly chipboard & alphas.

Just uploaded my LO. Unfortunately I had to photograph it sans photo as my brother is a bit funny about his photo being on the internet.

Loved the challenge. The photo is of my two brothers + my boyfriend from my mum's 50th, on the 5th March. Added a couple of crochet dollies as well as a handmade distressed flower.

My final LO completed, Have finished all the monthly challenges & also the CC ones, wow, first time
