I am still trying to figure out what the heck 'emo' is. I am not sure that my DSs explaination is that good.....even if he does know it all.

emo.... is me... (i prefer alternative) lol... wear black mainly, listens to rock/metal/heavy music... skulls, tats, peircings etc..... lots more black stuff like most my furniture is black.... etc

Ok so if we make embies out of cardstock or paper do they have to be out of the 1 piece of cardstock and 1 of pp??

Basically i want to make a paper rainbow embie and it would be 7 different coloured papers

Sarah, i have Treens here and have just asked her her opinion on ur question and she said go for it!! Doesn't matter what you use to make your embellies, she just meant for ur background to only use 1 piece of each!! Although if your pp is double sided, well you have still only used 1 12x12 piece!!

lol thats the funny thing about emo.....i think i was one before it was actually called emo

See most of them grow out of it by the time they get to my age, (which is sad cuz there would be some pretty hot late 20 emo guys around) lol. I get a bit annoyed when these young ones say "im emo and im all depressed" and then start saying they hurt themselves. Which give the culture such a bad rep. I guess for me, its is about the music and the EMOtions that go along with the lifestyle and music. There is one thing though that people say about it that is true, they tend to cry during songs that you can really relate too. (which is me) It can be because its sad, or happy etc.
but i guess people have be doing that since the beginig of music?


If your kids start saying they are emo, some times there are the cool ones that are just "are" and not trying to be

OH dear - I went to bed thinking of this last night.....now I am bug eyed and have to be at work in 20 mins. Just having a coffee before going.

I can just see you explaining to your boss at work why you're so tire Ant - you'll be along the lines of "well, these scrappy - no I didn't say crappy I said SCRAPPY girls I met online have dared me to paint rainbows with wire and then to paint it all up to emo it.... and on a reduced budget of only 2 papers!" that would make total sense to anyone - not ROFL
