Ant, we are thinking of you and Ray, and the family. Hopefully some scrapping will help to relieve some stress you have been enduring. Love Heart

well I made a start on Ant's chall this afternoon, but that is as far as I have gotten with it, coz I crashed out watching a movie with DP tonight (yet another one I haven't seen the end of...LOL)
I was very pleased with myself this afternoon though...as some of you may remember my last encounter with the sewing machine was pretty unpleasant (for both of us), but this afternoon we put our differences aside and tried again...SUCCESS! Aiming to finish the LO sometime tomorrow now which will only leave me one CC chall to go. Very Happy

Come on Bec. A true scrapper doesn't let ANYTHING get between her and her scrapgear. LMAO
Can't wait to see what you and your sewing machine have created Sue. Smile
Ant, I hope your hubby's brother is doing better today.
Treens, I hope your inspection goes well. I'm sure it will Wink. You sound very organised.

It's my son's last day of school today. Sad He is over the moon, but I don't know about me. I've got this big lump in my throat... 😢 I'm sure it will soon go when the stress of the exams hit. ROFL
Have a great day everyone!

Bec - you are a wuss!!!! LOL. The hairspray works wonders! What would you do if Dan wasn't there?

Still trying to salvage my LO. Grrrrrr. Not sure that I can. Should of left it alone in the first place.

My BIL has taken another down turn. Just spoke with the family and once again he unresponsive and in and out of conciousness. The doctors are still not sure what is going on and can not find anything on the MRI and the CTs. We thought things were good after he was very lucid after an angiogram (thought the dye might have cleared something).....but thought is the operative word. Please keep him in your thoughts.

Oh Ant - that's not sounding pleasant for your family Sad And with no reason would be so frustrating and hard to deal with **hugs** I hope they get answers for him and you all soon!!!

I'm planning a scrappy day today - my kids are unexpectedly off my hands (our neighbour wanted to take them to the show to say thankyou for them looking after her animals while she was away!!!) and Dommy is down for a nap - all i need now is to get some creative juices flowing Smile

I did....but I din't realise that it was going to be difficult for you....Music should get those creative juices going just nicely. Have fun whatever it is that you do - it has got to be better than cleaning the house.

Thanks Gals for your well wishes regarding Shawn (my BIL). It is very frustrating for us all. One day he was fine and at work and while there - he had a really bad pain in the head and starting talking nonsense - 911 was called and still no answers over a week later. Very scary stuff. They know he is bleeding, but the tests are just not showing them where from. The hard thing for us right now is to decide whether to go or to stay.....? Right now I am thinking that Ray should go on his own because for all of us to go would be a very big cost right now. hmmmmm. Wish I could wave my magic wand and fix it all....but alas....the kids misplaced it.

Treens - if you are looking for something to do you can come clean my house.....

oh Ant - that sounds scary... so are they labelling it a stroke or just all up in the air at the moment? Sooooo frustrating!!!! I can understand the difficulty in working out whether to go over or not... It's a big expense that I'm sure isn't budgeted for... good luck - you know where we are if you need to vent, scream, cry - whatever you need to do Hugs

Hmmm housework... It's tempting if you're there to gossip too.. you know the girls around here... Ssssshhhh can't say on here Wink ROFL

Loves ya Vicki and Charm - I wouldn't gossip Wink you don;t give enough fodder to gossip about ayways hahahhaa

hmm I've stickled some glitter on flowers... made a start on scrapping Wink and now Dommy's awake - but playing in his cot.. probably gives me another 5 minutes before he demands attention Wink

Nope - not a stroke! It is as you say 'all up in the air' at the moment. Other than the confusion - no real signs of a typical stroke.

Tori has fallen asleep while I was watching an episode of Starsky and Hutch....oops - she just woke up. Better run. Bye

Ant, Hoping your BIL pulls through and they can fix the bleed. I know how difficult it is when family overseas get sick. All my family are in the UK. At least you know about it. My mum had a stroke and had to rushed to hospital and was in intensive care and my dad had to go into a home but I wasn't told about it until my birthday about 2 weeks later. Thankfully, mum made a fullish recovery.

{{{hugs}}}Ant hope the drs find whatever it is quickly for your BIL. Tried to give your sister a hug but thought I might look real silly walking around Mildura hugging every female in sight Smile

Glad everyone is enjoying the challenges. Only a couple of days to go now. Need to go check them out again and work out what pics I need to take and get them done. Busy couple of days ahead for me.

Stop fussing with it Vicki!!! Smile You'll put too much on it and then regret it Wink

I'm hitting Ant's challenge tonight, well not literally but you know what I mean Smile I've been trying to get the creative juices going with an easier challenge elsewhere - yes they're easier, ours make me think harder - not good for my brain at the moment hahahaha

Grrrr the kids are home, tired and Augh arguing!!!! Early dinner and bed tonight I think.... Grrr kids!!

I need to print pics too Becci for the next 2 challenges. Hope I get time. I should of told you where my sister works - then you could of said hi. She would of been stoked to have someone pop in and say "Your sister said hi!" She is a bit (ok a lot) lonely up there and misses us like crazy.

Just got in from picking Matthew up - had an impromtu visit with a friend and now the kids are all hyped up and the tears have started - so I hear your pain Treens....don't you wish the neighbour could of taken them for the night....hehehehe. DH is now on his way home now with a bottle of Champers....I asked for it. Yummo.

Judith - I know what that feels like about not being told. You hear the excuse that they didn't want to worry you - but when I was informed that my Aunty had cancer the day she died I was pretty peeved to say the least. I made them promise from that day forward that they would let me know what was going on and I would make the choice on whether to worry or not.

Vicki - I reckon you might be stressing too. Relax gal!!!! I am sure it is fine jus the way it is.

Everyone - thanks again for your kind words regarding Shawn. Will keep you informed!

hope he get onto a recovery real soon.... weird o me sounds like a stroke coz i watched a medical show once n a lady had a "conscious" stroke.... so she didnt have the proper signs n just all her mind was muddled up... like she could hear but couldnt say the righ words n numbers were squiggles etc... she said she called someone based on a peice of peoper she just coppied the squiggles etc... but yeah hope they find out soon.... n he gets better....

with the spider... i had already gone to bed n just left the cupboard open for him to leave then i would have shooed him out in the morning..... but danny got rid of him in a bizarre and cruel way anyways....

well i still have done NO los... just the half the monthly challenge.... i need to buy ink for a start n i just always at work n trinity feels the need to "help" all the time... n she doesnt sleep much at all as u would know from retreat....

oh n my mojo is dead i think.... n i have music playing most of the time in our house..... *sigh*
