Tip for people who dont have the machine to do the job... try cookie cutters pressed onto your sheet (with a towel or soft suface underneath)
i seen my kids do it and they got it to work

I have also heard that if you wet your page very slightly - it embosses a bit easier - haven't actually tried this though....

you can also do the old rub over something kind of embossing - like bark, coins, anything really Use a handle on a spoon or similar

I think the purple and green will do me in too... I've got some but the only time I've had it anything close to working was last month with the photo's of Kahli's birthdays - I love what others do with it though - definitely a challenge!!!

Nah Joy, i like it!! It doesn't have to be completely green and purple, just make them dominant colours, and to answer your previous question Joy, you can add flowers and anything else you want, as long as the criteria is met!!

I actually like this challenge, I'm loving all the challenges this month. Now to just get moving on them

I am almost finished this one!! Woohoo!! Once i started, it all just fell together, so now i am sticking it all down, and need to add journalling and then it will be done!!

OK - here is a question. If my photo is so close to black and white that it aint funny (that is it is desaturated to about 90%, meaning there is just a trace of colour in it) can I still use it? I really want to use this particular photo but don't want it to be completely black and white.

well it's Nikki's call coz it was her criteria, but I would have thought it would be OK Ant, given that it said b & w or sepia...that doesn't sound too fussy to me! (Besides, we are only doing this one for a bit of fun anyway.)
