Morning! Still not 100% on my dare challenge, it needs something else. Not enough pp for my liking lol.

One of Brians clients has gone home for a couple of weeks so he comes home at lunch and doesn't have to go back this arvo. So he cna watch the kids while I scrap!

I stayed up waaaay too late last night (3:30am) so when dh yelled out... "hey are you girls up yet"... after coming home from his run at (7:40am)... I leapt out of bed, threw dd in the bath, cleaned her teeth, packed her lunch, threw her and her school bag into the car and made it out the door 20 minutes later... I can't believe we actually made it to school on time... the traffic was a nightmare with the heavy rain and starting school at 8:25am should be illegal...

anyway, one hot chocolate with two marshmallows at Gloria Jeans later I am home again and set to scrap!

Thanks again everyone for the chat last night... I really had fun, and it only took me an hour to clean all of dd's vomit from the bedding, walls and carpet... (so much fun at that time of night!) but I'm a glass half full kind of girl... I figure that at least the vomitting was only caused by overexcitement courtesy of one ridiculously stupid dh and not some revolting tummy bug that could've seen her home from school for the rest of the week (intruding on my "me time")...

Yep, she finishes at 2:35pm this year (Grade One) and then 5 minutes later each year throughout Primary.

Oh still ridiculous starting at that time . I think I'd prefer the later start and later finish. Is it like that in the whole state?

Well i have found and printed some photos suitable for the first two challenges, so hopefully i will get time to make a start with those tonight!!

Nah, note the whole state, her cousins who goes to schools within ten minutes from hers starts at 9am...
Most schools that I know of are 9am-3pm.
I think they do it to make up the extra weeks of holidays they get throughout the year.

I am soooooo NOT a morning person and if she didn't love her school so much I'd seriously consider changing to somewhere with a more reasonable starting time. Mind you, it could be worse, she wanted to play Hockey this term but when we found out she'd have to attend two morning training sessions that started at 7am we quickly changed our minds! Completely crazy for a year oner me thinks!!!
But even worse is swimming training for the squads that start at 5:30am...

Linda - I'd be changing schools I love that the kids don't start until 8.45 here and school until 3pm!! much better than the 8.30 to 2.30 we had back in Burnie - but there they could walk to school - so in saying that I've given up the luxury of a true stay at home weekday **sigh**

Well I didn't get my card done this arvo. Got mums done though. Came backinside to see Eli sittingup with Brian. Brian had hung washing. Cleaned up from lunch and done the dishes!

Will try to get it done between the boys going to bed at 8pm and me having to collect Randall from cadets at 9pm.

Oh got a call from my lss, my new crochet cotton is in. Three new colours, so I can pick them up on my way to get Randall tonight as they have a scrap night on wednesday nights. Yay!!!!!

Well best go serve up this dinner

I am so glad I don't have to worry about school for a few years. Starting before 9am would do my head in, although I am a morning person not a night person.

I am hoping to start on ch 1 tonight. Got my pics printed, only 10c at Dick Smiths atm. Yes Vicki I printed the ones of Jay in the pantry when he found the rice flour
I must get on and check out your stash and prices for your flowers Becci.

Got my Opening Challenge done! First one I have actually managed to get done. It's very simple. Will take pics and upload tomorrow.

Well I've got my card up, although its not eligible to win.... I'm going to scrap tomorrow! I have a few layouts on the go from yesterday, and I will attempting one or two of the cc challenges I think can't wait!

Early start for me again, Ashan is back to work tomorrow so have to drop him off before 6am again EEEK!!!
