Handmade embellies...how do you store them?
With all the recent handmade embellishment swaps we have been having, I am wondering how everyone is storing them? (At the moment mine are still "homeless" and in the bags sitting on the edge of my desk.)
I have decided that I am going to use a big container (probably a 4L icecream container) and then store all the embellishments sorted by colour in zip-lock bags in it. I just thought it might make it easier for me when I go looking for that "extra something" to put on a LO.
Does anyone else have any genius ideas for this though???

Mine are mostly still in the bags they came in. But, I want to do something else with them as they are annoying me that way. I am thinking some mini drawers would be good for this - but haven't seen anything big enough as yet, that isn't too big.

Gee we think alike Sue!! I was trying to work out what to do with them all the other day. Mine are also in the ziplock bags, taking up space on my desk. I was thinking i would put them in a container, but didn't want the all rubbing against each other and getting wrecked, so i like the container idea, with the little bags. Am now debating whether to sort them into colours or themes now tho!!

i have all of my flowers etc in ziplock bags that I have hole punched in the corner, threaded only a jump ring anf then have them on the rod in the wardrobe in my scrap room. Could do the same with embellies. Have stored my rubons this way too

Well I did it!!! Sat down yesterday avo and sorted all my embellies plus a pile of stuff that was in the "yet to be put away" spot...LOL
All my embellies have been sorted by colour into ziplock bags, so will see how that works for me!

Re: Handmade embellies...how do you store them?
This is what I'm doing at the moment...
I have these A4 size drawers that hold the majority of my handmade embellies that I have from you lovely ladies here at SBT50. It's getting a bit crammed though as the months go by...
My Lime Tree goodies for example...
I also have some bigger boxes for the extra things that didn't fit in the drawers. Purple Pumpkin goodies for example...
Still a work in progress as I keep buying things... oops. I have some things in ice cream containers as well. They just sit where ever they'll fit and that's about it. I have a good idea in my head of what I have from each person which helps. I like to keep them in order of who I buy what from so that way I can credit the right person when it comes down to it!
