Happy New Year everybody!! Challenge 3: 'Vicki's Challenge' Icon_smile

My first challenge for you in 2010 is to use altered newspaper as the main embellisment on your page, use stitching (in what ever for you like) and use strip journalling!! Pretty easy for the start of the year!! Challenge 3: 'Vicki's Challenge' Icon_smile

Here is my example. I have painted my newspaper with a thin layer of paint which dried really quickly and have also used the title and date from the paper:

Here is Joy's (downunderdame) layout. She has made the lollipop flowers out of newspaper(main embellishment) & distressed with ink, then sewed on the buttons. Looks great Joy!!
