And the countdown begins.....

With less than a week until the big man in the red suit arrives, it is time to start preparing for the christmas feast, the bombardment of rellies and the 10,000 more toys that just will not fit into my house!! We will be celebrating christmas at our house this year, with the majority of our family from both sides!! Am i crazy?? Maybe so, but it is easier than dragging the kids around to 4 different stops all in one day spread within a one hour driving range each way, plus the kiddies are getting a trampoline for xmas, which is going to totally blow my DD away, so i would like them to be able to spend the day jumping, and then go to bed early from exhaustion!! Thats my plan anyway!!

Anyway, i just wanted to wish everybody a very merry christmas and a happy new year. If you are travelling over this crazy time, drive carefully and i hope to see you all back here ready and raring to go in the new year!!

We are haeding away today for 2 weeks. DH's family have a house on the Macleay river. The house is 2 homesteads that were combined, well over 100 years ago. 27 beds, no electricity, no telephone (that is the best part!!!) Gas fridges to keep my Christmas Cheer chilled.
I have packed crafts to do and trashy magazines to read... bliss

Ours is a busy Christmas - popping into Mount Gambier before Christmas to visit my parents, then heading up to see my grandparents and all my other rellies in the Barossa/Adelaide - something we haven't done for a while so thought we should seeing as I've just had a new bub {to show off...hehe} then we're on our way back to Mount Gambier to celebrate New Years and stay for a few days too !

Vicki, Sue and Kathie, you have all done such a wonderful job this year, and I have to say I can well and truly call myself a scrapper now because of the support from this wonderful place!! Best wishes to Vick as she takes control of the Top 50, and to everyone, have a safe and happy Xmas and New Year. We are staying in Townsville (in the air con!) and my in-laws, DH cousin, and brother + girlfriend are coming up. Will be heaps of fun. Looking forward to all the fun and laughs in 2010!!!
