Day 6: All Stitched Up!! :)

This isn't what i had planned to do for today, but when cruising around the big wide web last night i came across some cards that had been hand embroidered and thought i would give it a go!! So i visited my friend google once again and found a fairly plain xmas pic that i could have a play with, and here it is:

I printed the picture in black and white then blu tacked it over my cardstock and got to pricking all the holes where i wanted them. I then got my thread and started stitching. I used 2 strands of cross stitch thread to stitch with and i don't think you would need it any thicker then that. So... what do you think of my first ever attempt at making an embroidered card??

Be sure to upload your pictures into the 7 cards in 7 Days folder in the Dec monthly gallery folder by Monday 21st Dec and please clearly mark your card with your name and which day the card is for!!
