Oh with report card writing I don't know if I can get even one done! Blow it! Will try though as it is a fun idea.

I am so sorry to all but I too will have to give this a miss. This was not what I thought Bingo would be....lol. I do not have the time to do 1 layout, nevermind 5, 6 or more.

Sorry if that puts a dampener on things for anyone...wasn't intentional, just not what I expected it to be.

Duh me.

Post by Julie M Mon Nov 16, 2009 11:38 pm

I AM DONE!!!!

Tired, but done!

They are all loaded into my bingo gallery folder. The colours are dreadful, as this light is bad, but I was keen to load them tonight. I will take better pics and post on my blog over the next few days.

My list of what I had to do is as follows.

#4 Scrap myself... Didn't do this as I had already scraped my most recent photo, so I went with the Wild card and did #8. Use 2 or more punches. I only own 3 punches, so I used 2. A scallop tag Stampin Up! punch and the other is a Creative memories Corner Rounder.

14. Complete a layout using stitching and distressing. I have machine stitched straight and zigzag. On the PP, CS and photo. I have torn the PP, inked, curled and sanded.

9. Complete a layout focused on stamping and inking I have inked the Swiss Dot Bazzill CS to highlight some of the embossing. I also inked the edges of the CS and the journal tag. The tag came in a 50cent swap and is also stamped, Thank you The Guidelines... - Page 2 Icon_smile I have stamped the title with ink and also stamped the heart.

6. Complete a layout using a bug OTHER than a butterfly, and the hitch is this layout has to be bright and colourful.
I have had these photos in my 'to do' pile for a long time. With all of these challenges the to do pile is getting smaller The Guidelines... - Page 2 Icon_smile The bug is a Lady Bug that I stamped and coloured with Pink Kindy Glitz. Bo Bunny papers

12. Complete a layout focusing on journalling, this layout must have NO picture.
No pictured used! I used a calendar sheet of paper and have planned December out. Not that busy...yet! lol

X I went with the top picture where you had to use the colours. Once I wrote down what the colours were, I realised that my new Kraft Kuts were those colours. Same colours, just a different tone. I love this Layout, it is my fav of the night. It is so simple, I tried adding more to it so it looked like I put some effort in, but it just didn't look 'right' with more on it... IYKWIM. The Guidelines... - Page 2 Icon_smile The colours in this photo are very bad, sorry.

Well it is past midnight and my vision is all blurry now, so goodnight!

Thank V for a super challenge!

BINGO!!!! (Do i win cos Julie didn't shout BINGO?? Smile ) The Guidelines... - Page 2 Lol

Well done Julie!! I have finished mine too, and am uploading now!! Smile I had to play netball tonight so lost some time to get these done, but oh well, i am done now!! Smile

I'm quite happy with all my layouts, however the lighting is crap in my house, so half the photos are very blurry!! Sad I'll take some more tomorrow arvo so you can see what they really look like!! Smile

To those of you still playing along, keep going, as there are still plenty of prizes on offer!! Smile

P.S. I was happy with all my challenges, so i didn't use my Wild Card!! Smile

Thanks!
Well done Vicki!!!! You got me on the Bingo! The Guidelines... - Page 2 Lol

I couldn't sleep straight away from all of that scrapping so I calculated that I spent 12 hours scrapping. Take time out of that to take DS to sport, sick DD, kids to bed etc. So I had a good hour on each page. Thats not bad.

I think I still have some mojo in me, so I might scrap some of the CC challenges today Smile

Keep going everyone, this is a great challenge just for yourself to see what you can get done, it suprised me!!! Smile

Post by vickstar Tue Nov 17, 2009 9:27 am

I didn't start til after lunch cos V was soooo late putting the x factor up!! The Guidelines... - Page 2 Lol Plus i had to print some photos and stuff!! But i was lucky that DH had to day off work yesty and had been told in advance that i would be doing nothing but scrapping for the day!! Smile Plus my parents were here all day, and seeing as my scrappig is set up in my dining room, which is open plan with my louge room, i could scrap and talk and watch the kids and nobody cared!! Smile

I knew if i didn't get the done yesty i wouldn't get them done, as we have swimming lessons for the kids this morning, so won't get home til after lunch as we go to maccas for a play after swiming, and then we have mum's group tomorrow if the temp doesn't jump too quickly - we are meant to be up to high 30's again tomorrow which will be horrible after 24 yesty and about the same today!! Ad if it is that hot, i won't be scrapping cos the kids will be hot and bothered and annoying me!! Smile

So that is how i did it!! Head down, bum up, and just went for it!! Smile

Thanks Vicki!!! I took a little longer probably on each (I couldn't help myself!). I burned the midnight oil alright, but I've pulled up alright this morning (apart from the blood shot eyes!) LOL! Julie was a bit of a dark horse - Well done Julie, and of course well done Vicki (I knew you were going to be up there). I scrapped up such a storm (my biggest ever) and now it's actually mega dark and raining over here! (Still hot though - but nowhere near as hot as over your side of the fence Vicki!!! sunny Brutal!!!

I wonder who's going to be next??? Smile

I have a query for my challenge #5 with using alfoil, can it be any thin embossing foils or does it have to be the kitchen variety The Guidelines... - Page 2 Icon_question

I hope i am right in saying this, but i think at this stage you should be able to use any thin embossing foil!! Smile V may disagree, but that is my opinion!! Smile

Who else is still scrapping their challenges??
