Oh what a gorgeous house. Yes the photos don't look like it needs much doing to it but that is good in a a way as it might look okay until it is done IYKWIM.

Hehehe - just had a conversation with DS about him putting stuff all over my scrap table. His response "Mum, it isn't YOUR scrap table...it is OUR dining table!"........problem is.....he is right!

Love the house Kathy. Can't beat the old ones. We live in a 1930's Californian Bungalow.

im home today with the kids.
they are feeling a lot better so i will take them for a play at the park today.
they have sand under the playground now the kids will love it

Hi lovely ladies! Well I've been in the wilderness for the last week, and am looking forward to catching up on all the goss! Sue has just been visiting and we had an absolute ball spending time together, and scrapping!! Her DD and our Mum were also here, so full house. They left today though.


Anthea, hoping Tori is on the mend now and back to her normal self.
Kathie, fingers crossed you get the house ... very exciting.

Thanks girls for you blessings on our new home.....I will let you know if we are able to secure it! Its very rough inside, you don't really see it in the photos unless you look at the floors and walls really closely!!!
I have been struggling with a really bad back for a few days now.....not nice as the pain makes me physically sick at times.
Mandy I feel your pain with your family going home today, its so hard when you live apart and travel isn't that easy to arrange and its expensive too!! Its great to hear that you all had such a great time!! Bet its done you all the world of good to get together and have fun!!

Hi all! Well I am finally back at home today (back to reality) and very sad my trip away has come to an end. It was great to catch up with Mandy and her family and we really enjoyed our time together. (VERY late nights in the scrap room...LOL) I managed to get 2 LO's done as well as my mini album. I will take pics tomorrow and post them up. (Terrible light here this afternoon - we've got storms.)
Kathie, sorry to hear that your back is giving you so much trouble, and it is especially hard when it has been going on for so long. I hope you are feeling better soon.
I look forward to catching up on everything I've missed and talking with everyone again!

Hi Robyn. My back is improving thanks and I'm now able to shower properly and do other things that we just take for granted each day!!!
Sue its great to hear that you had such a fantastic time away with your sister. Late night scrapping what were you thinking???? I'd have probably done a couple of all nighters
Well today I'm waiting to hear if our offer is accepted on our new home, we are really excited about this one....we just pray that it goes our way...its such a beautiful property!!
Okay what else will I be doing.......no house work as I can't but will do the washing coz I can!! Scrapping up a storm if I can sit for long enough to do it!! YAY and thats about it!!

Our kitchen renovation is in its last stages now and we hopefully should have a working kitchen by the weekend! Can't wait...

Marelize - hope you put up some pics of your new kitchen. I remember when we did ours - it was a nightmare to live it, but the end result was soooo worth it.

I am trying to get back to normal here after my trip. I have a few things to catch up on and then will be back to "normal" routine (of late nights scrapping and chatting on here...LOL)

Still nothing on the house, but we have done our finance so that if it goes to auction we can bid on it!! I feel like a school girl out on her first date....I'm so nervous!!! I will let you know shortly after I do!!!!!!

The electrician was here yesterday and the plumber today, so I finally have a working kitchen! I'm like a kid on Christmas day!! Can't wait to unpack everything and to start using my new oven!
I will put some photos on my blog as soon as the tiling on the walls are done, but it might take a while as DH is going to do it himself. He doesn't have a lot of time for DIY lately as he's working very long hours at the moment. Will let you know when its ready!

YAY That is great news about your kitchen Marelize!! I'd be hanging out to use the new stuff too!!

This morning Brielle and I had a trip to the doctor for her 18 month old needle. She was really good and only cried a little bit (which quickly stopped when I handed her a cracker...LOL) I have bought her a Freddo as a surprise for afternoon tea though, seeing as she was such a good girl!
Sometime today / tonight I need to have a massive clean-up in my scrap room as I look around and see there is stuff sitting all over the place waiting to be put away...not like me, but I haven't had much time to play in here since I've been home. My mojo will probably be firing after that, as a good clean-up usually does that to me!

hiya everyone was home today by myself as the kids are at daycare.

i mowed the back lawn today and put washing out, got it in, vaccumed, general tidy up of house.

we are having dinner at the grandparents tonight and will pick the kids up at the same time.

i hope to be able to go town with anya tumorrow and do some window shopping.
