Challege 3: The Fab 60's!!

The 1960’s were an exciting, revolutionary, turbulent time of great social and technological change: assassination, unforgettable fashion, new musical styles, Camelot, civil rights, gay and women's liberation, a controversial and divisive war in Vietnam, the first manned landing on the moon, peace marches, World's Fairs, flower power, great TV and film and sexual freedom.
For many, the music of the 60’s provided not only poignant social commentary on what was going on in the world, but also the theme for a generation of young people. There was no bigger influence on music in the 1960’s (and some would say since) than the Beatles, so I thought I would let them inspire us once more.
For this challenge, you are going to be taking your inspiration from the cover of the 1968 Album of the Year -“Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” by the Beatles.
You can let this album cover inspire you in any way you wish – you may choose to use it like a sketch, use the colours, or include some of the aspects as feature embellishments on your own layout. (If you look closely, there are LOTS there!)
There are three aspects of the cover you are required to use however - a black and white photograph, layering and the use of both a title and subtitle.
Here is Kathie's example:
Entries will need to be uploaded into the Let’s Go Retro! Crop gallery - Fab 60's Challenge folder by midnight, October 28th. The winner of this challenge will receive a “totally fab” prize pack from Top 50 to the value of $25!!

I just love this one, and am getting to work right now. Though one thing (since im new) can the photo be of anything? and is a small amount of colour alloud (as in a focus of colour on a little teddies head?thought the rest is black and whit?)

Hey Beke, your photo can be of absolutely anything, and i'm sure you can get away with a tiny tinge of colour, just as long as your layout takes inspiration from the album cover and you follow the criterias!!

I finished this tonight!! Not sure that it represents the album cover in any way, or that it even folows the criteria much, but oh well, it is done now!!
