Time for a new avatar!

OK, it's time for a new avatar again!!!
Given the theme of this month's CC is "Let's Go Retro", we want to see a "retro" picture of you!

Please try to have your new avatar pic posted by opening night (sorry for the short notice, we forgot to ask earlier! )

PS - Choose wisely, as you'll be scrapping it! (Which challenge you use it for is up to you, but it will earn you bonus points!)

OK, here's my retro photo! It is myself, my husband (middle) and our friend Jimmy who now lives in Long Beach, California. And yes, we are posing. This was taken in May 09 during our trip to America, and Jimmy was having an 80's party the weekend we caught up with him! Ah, good times........

Okay here is mine ladies!! Me at the tend age of 18 (very late '70's)!! Would you believe I have the darkest hair and it took so much to get it blonde......and then I had to have the regrowth done every 2 weeks!!!!
Have a good laugh, coz I just did!!!! I had a better picture of me younger in the 60's but settled on this one coz I like the flower in my hair...ooooohhhhhh the flower girl.....

BTW - the soft toy that I was pushing around in the trolley was called "Larry" (don't ask me why?) and yes, I still have him!!!

Ok... i found this photo hidden in the depths of my photo draw. It has been cut from a group xmas photo, not sure why!! I think i must be about 6 or 7, so just scrapping into the retro years!! Don't you love those sunnies and the pussy cat jumper!!

I am loving everyones avatars - I am not sure if I will be able to get a new one up as it will require a trip to my mommys house to get a pic and then a trip to my sisters to get the photo scanned etc. We will see .

Here's my new avatar! It's me on my 6th birthday party! In the background is a Barry White record in the front of a super retro record holder, retro box of cheezels, and a retro print mirror (remember those?).

Oh, and I forgot to mention my retro Yogi Bear party hat!!!

Chantal! I have photos from my 5th birthday where we are all wearing the same type of hats! (I think I actually have "Quickdraw McGraw" on though!)

We had that one too! And also Huckleberry Hound, Magilla Gorilla, Top Cat... all those ol' Hannah Barbera classics!!! We reused them every year!

LOVING the retro photos ladies.... I'll have to search and see if the scanner works on this new printer i have.... hopefully I'll find a photo thats NOT embarrassing....

He he Charmane!! I wasn't going to post mine up with the HAIR DO, but I had a good laugh and thought that it would be a challenge to scrap a photo like that!!!
