Feb Swap 2013!!

Here is the sign-up thread for the Feb handmade embellishment swaps...our theme for Feb is LOVE!! (Hearts etc)

The way this swap will work is you will make a set of embellishments (all the same), enough for one for each person in the group you have signed up to. (Eg, if 8 people in the swap, you will make 8 embellishments).
These are to be no larger than 2 to 3 inches in size. You can make any type of embellishment you wish as long as it is something that is LOVE themed, is able to be posted in an A5 envelope, and is something that is suitable to be used on a layout or card. If it doesn't fit in an A5 envelope then chances are it is too big and will need to be made smaller. Please do not send anything larger than an A5 envelope.

Once you have completed your embellies, you will send them all to Me (Vicki), then I will send you back one of everyone's embellies (including your own). You will also need to include a stamped, self-addressed envelope for each group you are in. Please ensure your return envelope is A5 in size and that you send sufficient stamps to cover postage ($1.20)!!! (Please PM me when you are ready to post if you don't have my address!! )

Seeing as we are making a late start from Feb, embellishments will need to be completed and sent to me by mid March (we will have a new swap for March). If you are having trouble getting them done in time, please let me know!

Sign-ups for this swap will remain open for one week, after which time I will confirm groups and final numbers.

Sorry ladies, it looks like we are running this with just the four of us. We have a couple of options, do we want to do 2 different embellies for the love theme, to make it worth while, or do we want to do one embellie each for 'love' and one each for an 'autumn' theme, and have them to me by the end of March?

i would be happy to do either of the options vicki......ive got 1 set of love embellies ready to post, could easily make another set then post, or n1 of each them...i was going to sign up for the next swap anyway...so doesnt really matter either way

happy to do either... auturmn is a bit of a hard one for me as perth doesn't really get autumn, ie now it's autumn and it's cooled to 35 today! ahh well, always up for a challenge, put my thinking hat on! what date did you want them in by and can you pm me where i need to send them please.. thanks

Hi Lisajane, thanks for joining the swaps. I think we will run with love and autumn. Autumn doesn't mean that you have to go with leaves and stuff, you can just use associated colours or anything really! I will pm you my addy to post to. I need to get them by the end of March!

same here lisa.......QLD gets summer and even winter is just na bit less of a summer lol..... we dont get all 4 seasons here....but i will run with the autumn trad colours............. alrighty, just need to do the autumn ones then can post......

WHEN does the autumn swap close....or do we just do 4 of each theme???
