Jan ATC Swap!!

Who is up for an ATC swap in Jan?? What is an ATC swap you ask... good question... .... here is a definition of Kathie's that i copied from another thread:

ATC's or Artist Trading Cards are little cards that measure 2.5" by 3.5". They can be embellished how ever you like. Normally you do 1 a month but you make enough for everybody on the list (10 people and you = 11 cards) and one extra for youself. Normally you have a theme for the month. Are you getting the idea? They are not hard to do.......mostly they are done all the same with some slight differences. I then date stamp the back with the makers name (mine on my cards), date made, theme, then number each card, so if I have 10 cards that I have made they would be numbered 1 of 10, 2 of 10 etc etc! Hope this helps you. Will give more details and photos later on!!

Ok, so i was thinking, we can either do christmas themed ATC's, or we can go the other way and do Australia Day or Valetines/Love themed. What do you think??

If you are interested, add your name to the list and add which theme you would prefer. The theme with the most at the end of sign up - Jan 15th - will be the theme we run with!!

Can someone put some examples up and perhaps show us newbies the way? (I have never done them either, but a new year demands new challenges! )
And who is hosting this swap? Maybe someone experienced with doing ATC's would like to?

I'm happy to host it, as in do the recieving/sorting/sending (you know i LOVE getting mail, even if it isn't all for me!!), but if Megan or Kathie or somebody else with ATC experience would like to give us all some guidance in the art of ATC's it would be greatly appreciated!!

I'm happy for you to do it Vicki.......Not sure how much time I will have in Jan and Feb....not much at the rate I'm going!!! I can't sign up until march, I'm so sorry....but you do know why!!

We haven't got enough people interested to run this at the moment, so will look into it again in a few months time.

We never went ahead with this as we didn't get a lot of interest, but if anybody would like to try again, and run it themselves, you are more than welcome!
