Did you all see the new reality show 'My House Rules'? We watched it and loved seeing what everybody could do it the short amount of time and with the rules they were given to follow! Smile

If you didn't see it, basically it was a renovating show where the renovators were given 5 house rules that they had to follow when renovating the other contestants houses, so with that in mind, i decided to create a challenge where you get 5 rules to incorporate into your layouts. I'm not so nasty as to make you use all 5 of the rules though (unless you want to Wink), however i would like to see you use 3 of the rules!! Smile

The 'Rules' for this challenge are:
- Modern with straight lines
- Bright but not in your face
- Make a feature stand out
- Create space
- Make it your own and have fun!

Here is my example! I have tried to incorporate all the rules! Smile

Thanks for the challenge Vicki! I managed to finish this one off this morning. I scrapped a photo of my friend Jenny and I taken at our Halloween party back in 2011. It was a fun photo anyway so it was fun to play around with the layout as well. Thank you Vicki for the inspiration! Just off to upload it to the gallery now.
