Challenge Rules!!

Top 50 Challenge Rules:

If you are entering challenges at Top 50, your layouts must be made specifically for the Top 50 challenges. Layouts are NOT to be entered into any other online comps simultaneously.

You are welcome to enter your pages at other sites once our challenge is over and winners have been announced, however during the duration of the challenge, LO's should only be entered here. However you are welcome to display your pages on your personal blogs or other online inspirational galleries (not for prizes).

Violation of this rule will see entries disqualified from judging and may be removed from the gallery.

I must admit, I didn't know this was a rule....but definitely happy to abide by it!

I just presumed this would be common sense, but thought i should make it clear for anybody who didn't know!

I also presumed that people would already know this, as most places I have seen have the same rule. Oh well, we all know now!

So here's a question... and I'm ok with the answer either way, I just want to clarify something for myself- if I was doing a layout-a-day type challenge, could I use a SBTop50 challenge as inspiration *and* enter it here?
The possible scenarios for the LOAD challenge that might change the answer that I can think of are:
1)There is a reward for finishing the entire thing or for doing anything at all, but not for individual layouts
2) There are randomly drawn prizes for uploading that day's layout
3) There are no rewards, it's just a challenge.

I'm thinking that the answers are fairly clear for 2 and 3 (not ok and ok?) but I'm not at all sure about scenario 1.
Can anyone help me here? It won't stop me doing any challenges, but it might make me ineligible some months.

Liz, I will leave it to the boss lady to confirm this answer for you but my thoughts would be that if you completed a LO for a challenge here and uploaded it as an entry, you would have to wait until the challenge was over here before entering it anywhere else. The exception to this would be unless it was another online gallery / blog simply for display / inspirational purposes with no prizes attached - iykwim? (I know that's what it basically says above anyway...LOL)

im guilty.................so sorry, it wasnt done intentionally.......but now i know, so sorry..... i will pull my layout for sarahs challenge off.....and do a fresh one........the layout i did that won for april,was only done for here though........so sorry i cant stress that enough

Sorry for the delay Rikki, layouts can be used for DT's but we ask that you wait til the challenge time frame is over, otherwise they won't be eligible to win the prize. Hope that helps!
