Vicki's style challenge!

This month i have a style challenge for you! I am really enjoying scrapping Brodie's photos in a grungy style, getting messy with paints and mists and adding different types of texture. Not sure if its because he is getting older, or because he is always dirty, lol, but i love it! Therefore my challenge to you all this month is to get dirty and create a grunge layout! Don't just think boy when you think grunge either, you can use it for girls too! The only criteria i am going to add to the challenge, is to use some altered chipboard!

Here is my example. The star at the top of the pic was used as the mask for the background, then i soaked it overnight in glimmermist, before roughing up the edges and letting it dry!

Love it Vicki....and I love grunge! It has been too long since I did a grunge LO so if I achieve nothing else this month....this one is on my to do list!!!!

here is mine vicki,i loved this challenge,and i would say 90% of my layouts are grungy in some way...prob comes from having 7 boys lol....... i misted the plain red background to grungy it up...and tore some of my edges......my altered chippy is the hearts musical notes...... i coloured it black and added a red wooden heart to one to make it stand out...thanks heaps for the great challenge vicki

Got my page in gallery. The idea for this page was originally going to be for Ant CC last month because its about disassembling an old car ready for restoration, and worked well with the need to use cogs. But when this grunge challenge came I just knew the photo was better suited to all things messy. As homage to "Ant's cogs" I have used some on this page too :-)
