Dec / Jan Chat..

As you will have noticed, our Dec monthly challenges are actually running until the end of Jan!! We realise this time of year is crazy for most of us, with the end of school year, christmas and school holidays, so we want to give you as much time as we can to get these challenges done. We have kept them pretty simple for you. They all have a christmas theme running through them, however your layout does not have to be christmas based as you will see from our example layouts! Now even though you do have 2 months to get these challenges done, make sure you don't forget to do them!!

Awesome! When you say end of school year, do you mean the holiday break or would this be like your summer break? Here in the US, we just started school in Sept. Lie is on his Thanksgiving break now, goes back for 3 weeks, then hes on Christmas break!

Sorry Terri, yes it is our school summer holidays. My kids have 2 weeks of school term left, then normally about 6 wks off school!

Lie said we should move there till your school starts then move back here when our school is getting out! No more school he says!!

Hello ladies.. sorry Ive been MIA.. It has been a CRAZY few weeks... we have had our kitchen reno finally done.. just got plumbing and electrician to do and I can actually use it lol. I will be so glad because the rest of the house is so chaotic, stuff everywhere.

Add onto that.. my mum and dad have a new place and basically by the time paper work etc was approved and stuff they had 6 days to empty their house and FARM/Shed etc as well as my brothers stuff who lives with them.. about 40 mins to the new place.. so they have been moving stuff into the new house shed (but couldnt access the house till 230 today).. I cannot even begin to explain how worn out they are. Atleast 3 trips a day with a convoy of cars, trailors etc... they are completly wrecked. Didnt get it done in time today but the new owners have allowed them to get the last bit on the weekend THANK GOD! I am going to be spending alot of time there over the holidays helping up pack.. lets say they have filled a 2 bay shed to bursting point.. a 2 car open carport and a wrap around verandah.. phew.. I havent been there for much of the packing but they now only live 20 mins away so Im on packing duty as much as I can ..

So yeah Christmas is almost upon us...my house is a mess and I am buggered lol!

Uhh.. i have gotten ANYTHING done!!! My daughter went in to have her Csection for her son...and it turned out to be a girl! Her dr was wrong the three times he said he saw boy parts. The Dr also kept trying to force narcotic painkillers on my daughter and wouldn't give her simple motrin. THEN the older kids deadbeat dad somehow got her room number in the hospital and called her, harrasing her.. UHHH Its ben insane! So we had to go buy all new baby stuff, plus Xmas, Lie home, its been insanity! going to work on some challenges tonight!

All three challenges are done, really finding it hard to get any scrapbooking time in- I want to scrap but just the family aren't really accommodating to mummy's needs lately :/ lol Hope you all had a great christmas and new years!

Totally forgot about the challenges, lol. Off to do them now   

I GOT ONE DONE!! Im going to try to get this next one done tonight!

I know how you feel Kate, i have had hubby home for a whole month on holidays too (his work shuts for a month, so we have no choice) and it really cramps my style!! Grrr!!! I have only scrapped one layout for the entire school holidays! Hubby goes back to work tomorrow (monday jan 20th) but its only for 1 night shift then another 4 days off per his usual roster!! GRRR!! Can't wait til school goes back, and he goes back to work, so i can do what i want to do!!! (Note i am actually home alone at the moment which is why i am in here checking things out!!)

Have not scrapped a LO for weeks. Thanks for the challenges, I got 2 of the 3 done and uploaded with about a min to spare LOL.
