November chat.....

Wow, not long til Christmas now! I can't believe we are in November already!! It has just clicked over midnight in my neck of the woods, so i will post mine and Ant's challenges now as i won't be around to do it in the morning, and Sue will post hers when she can!

Mine is now posted too.
I am hoping to be around a lot more this month, October turned out to be pretty demanding for me in a number of ways (plus my mojo took a complete hike). I know its the pointy end of the year and it's probably only going to get worse but I can hope right??? LOL

It is the morning for Oct 31st (Halloween) for us here in the States. Another cold Fall day and the leaves are still on most of the trees but there already are a few of the early droppers bare as can be. Possibility of a cool rain bor the little beggers tonight. We are going to sit in the dark with a lighted carved pumpkin and eat snacks while watching scary movies! I changed my avatar already because you are ahead of us timewise. November Thanksgiving arrives on the last Thursday of the month. We also have a tie change the weekend of Nov. 6th. We gain an hour of sleep (or scrapping)!

Great challenges this month ladies Hopefully my mojo comes back soon and I can join in and not feel so rushed for time

I was wondering... has it ever been suggested or considered to allow a card set (ie. 2 or 3) for the challenges as long as they fit in with the criteria? I know a lot of other challenge sites do this and it definitely helps me get challenges done when my mojo is hiding.

Lani, I can't comment on Vicki's or Ant's challenges for them, but if you want to do a set of cards (I would say 3), an OTP or set (9) of ATC's for my challenge this month you are more than welcome to.

Challenge criteria are usually set to "layout" as not only are our members predominantly scrappers who complete layouts, but this ensures the most level playing field for everyone that enters and makes it easier for judging too.

We have run specific card & OTP challenges in the past, but the overwhelming feedback we received from members was that they wanted us to stick to setting layout challenges.

Alot is happening on here lately! I have been in adelaide for a week and abit and am needing all the time i can to get up to speed with what is happening! phew there is alot and mr s isnt sleeping today! hmm mingt try again tonight!

CHALLENGE TIME!! YAY!!!

hey everyone - long time no see... can't believe it's november already too.... have LOTS on my plate atm.... not sure if you ALL know, but Ashan's sister passed away quite suddenly from breast cancer at the start of October, so since then life has changed somewhat. We have Ashans parents from Sri Lanka staying with us at the moment and will be here for a while. It's been great so far with extra hands to cook, clean and babysit! I'm hoping that means more time for me to scrap
