Whats your favourite salad recipe?

My favourite is a rice salad that my mum makes. We don't have an actual recipe cos we have made it for years and just make it to taste. You cook a couple of cups of rice and a cup of frozen peas and corn together. When rice is cooked, drain and add a drained tin of crushed pineapple. The dressing is a small carton of cream, a tablespoon of sugar or there abouts, and vinegar mixed together to taste. I like mine to have a little bit of tang from the vinegar. Then pour dressing over rice and enjoy! Smile Tastes great straight away, but also tastes yummy after being in the fridge for a while! Smile

That sounds yum vicki!
my fave is a really simple potato salad with some parsely and olive oil(not a huge mayo fan) some salt to taste. i prefer it served warm!

I like warm potato salad, cooked with garlic added to the water and crispy bacon pieces and fresh spring onion added before serving. No mayo for me though(hate the stuff) so it's a mix of light cream and light sourcream for the dressing. yummy
