A blind scrap is where i give you directions for a layout, but you don't get to see the original until yours is done. For example, i might say that you need a rectangle 12x2 that you place towards the right side of the page, a circle 6in that slightly over laps the rectangle, then 3in triangle in the lower left corner. Add photo and title here, then embellish. Once everybody has done their layout, we all upload and see how close everybody got to the original layout!

And for anybody who doesn't know Chinese Whispers, i create a layout, pass it to the next person on the list and they scraplift my layout before passing it to the next person on the list. You have a maximum of a week to pass the layout on via pm. By the time the layout gets to the last person, it is generally very different to the first layout!

Vicki, I can't understand how the "Chinese Whispers" could be so different from the original when it is scraplifted, unless we change a few elements on ours.

Because everybody has different pp and embellies and photos, it will always look different no matter how much you try to copy somebody elses. And yes, most people do choose to change things slightly to suit their own style!

Blind scraps are fun, but I like the sound of Chinese whispers! It could take forever though couldn't it depending on how many people played? I guess if you get it done in a day though, you can pass it on and it's not like you have to take a week...
