As per Ant's comment on my LO for the CC mini chall, re: recipe for the reindeer cookies.

I actually got the recipe from the Woolworths 'Fresh' magazine - December Issue 2010. (Cookies pictured on page 91, recipe on page 94.) You can access & search all back issues of the magazine online here:
http://www.woolworths.com.au/wps/wcm/connect/Website/Woolworths/Fresh-Food/Woolworths-Magazines/Issues-of-Woolworths-Fresh/

I had looked at them in the magazine and thought they were cute, but it wasn't until Charm made them and told me they were easy that I got my butt in gear and made them too! Wink

LMAO Sue, i copied Charm too, but just used a gingerbread cookie recipe that i found via google!! Smile

Thanks for sharing the link tho!! Smile

For anybody who hasn't figured it out, the reindeer can be made using a 'man' cookie cutter, then cutting his arms off!! Smile Then all u need to do is turn him upside down and decorate as a reindeer!! Smile

You don't need to cut the arms off!!! LOL The arms stay on, but when you put the melted choc on you don't put it over the arms...iykwim? You can see in the pics anyway.

Reindeer Cookies 680678 you have more patience then me then! I did NOT want an extra job that day, it was hard enough trying to keep B from eating all the lollies while she was decorating them!!!

PS - the recipe in the Fresh magazine made HEAPS, it's quite a big batch.

LOL, it wasn't me with the patience, the hands you can see decorating the bickies belong to Matt's cousin Cam!! lmao!! He was hanging around, so i made him help!! He is a baker after all!! lol!! He had as much fun as the kids tho, cos all 3 of them ended up covered in flour, along with half my kitchen!! lol!! I was the one behind the camera!!
