Nov cc ch 2: Recycle It!! :)

My challenge to you all this month is all about recycling!! This may sound scary, but i am sure as soon as you get started, you will really enjoy it!!

So what do you have to do? I'm not going to make this too tough, i am just going to challenge you to create a layout from recycled products from in and around your home! Your layout does not need to be made entirely from recycled products, but if you can, go for it!!

Here is my example layout, made entirely from recycled products!


This layout started as a pizza box, which i distressed, then rubbed over with a wet tea bag for a bit of colour. I then used bubblewrap, which came with one of the swaps last month, and stamped with some pink ink to give a bit more colour to the background, and then used the bottom of a apple sauce jar to stamp the circles with black ink over top. The crazy coloured pictures i cut off of Jorja's showbag, the denim is the bottom of Matt's old jeans, the book page and doiley are from the op shop, and i have dyed the doiley in beetroot juice (it smelled for a day, but is fine now!)!! The fabric button is off a pillow case, also from the op shop. The op shop products were all already in my stash! The photo mat is the clear lid from a packet of cookies from Coles, the purple squiggly pattern is the sticker off my Herbal Essence shampoo bottle, and the title is cut from a cereal box!! Phew, thats all!! lol!! Was soo much fun putting this together and thinking outside my scrap cupboard!!
