Challenge 2!

I came across a really cool tutorial blog yesterday called Whiff of Joy Inspirations. It has tutorials on cards and OTP projects, as well as many tutorials for some really great looking flowers, so for this challenge i would like you to check out the blog and make something from one of the tutorials. No, but I'll go back & have another look I just remembered I have one more to make for a girl at work.

Ok - mine didn't really turn out like hers, but in saying that, I did it from memory so am short a couple of petals. Also I don't own distress ink and I don't have a flower punch ( I just hand cut mine) and I don't have a water mister - but I still love how this turned out. BTW - I decided to be different and sit it on some greenery in my garden to photograph....it looks kinda cool huh?

Aren't all the flowers so easy to make!! You just need the imagination to think of them to begin with!! lol!! So much cheaper than buying them too!!

They are so much cheaper, this one took about half a sheet of cardstock and one brad, but I reckon you could use wire and a button instead if you needed. I will definitely be making more of these. I hope to have a go at some of the other stuff too. My biggest problem is I don't have punches so they are a bit time consuming. I also think you could add some dimensional magic to this to make it look a bit different.

Ant, you could use some kindyglitz around the edges for a little extra punch, not that the one you have shown us needs it!!

Ant, your flower looks divine! I LOVE how you photographed it too - like Judith, I had to look twice!
