Cameras, Lenses.... & Stuff!

What sort of camera do you have? What sort of camera would you love? Are you after a new camera or camera part, but don't know what to get?? Start a new thread and let us know!!

Would like to try the SLR cameras but need to LEARN alot before I spend the big $$$ on one.

I have a little pinky Fuji digital camera at the moment, not sure the model as it's in my bag still from my work party last night and I'm way too tired to go check!

I will definitely be in the market for a decent digi SLR soon! I have a Pentax (film) SLR but don't really use film any more because I am too lazy and digi is so much cheaper. When I do get a new camera I will be looking for another Pentax, because the lenses from my other camera will fit straight on to the digi one.

I would love a digi slr too!! One day i might be lucky enough to get one!!

I thik i have too!! If i didn't keep shopping for scrapping supplies that i simply NEED, then i might be able to afford one!!

I have a Canon Digital SLR and I love it. Worth the wait to save up for it.

I too have a Canon Digi SLR - It was my birthday pressie this year, and I LOVE it. Now I just have to learn to use it to its full potential. I use auto and the semi auto modes because anything I do in manual sucks. I also have a little Canon point and shoot that goes nearly everywhere with me.

I am sooooooo hoping for a tripod and a new lense for Christmas, I am thinking I would like a really good zoom lense and then a macro lense. Here's hoping Santa is good to us all.....

Robyn - what model do you have?

An older one...400D but I still love it. I have been trying to use the manual part too but like you need to know more. I would like to do a course.

I have a Canon 400D DSLR (Rebel as it is known is the USA) and really love it as well, have had a lot of cameras in my time but this one is so easy to use. Same as everyone I use Auto or Semi-auto and would love to do a course to learn how to use manual. Can anyone recommend an all-round lens. I have seen the Tamron one that will do closeup and distance but the sizes and prices vary, it would just be so much quicker not to have to change lenses. What did you get on EBay Robyn?
