I kinda sorta let my account go inactive An "old" Newbie Affraid earlier this year so I'm not really new - just slack An "old" Newbie Lol .But anyhoo I'll reintroduce myself (I kept my old user name An "old" Newbie Icon_razz ) in the hope that someone will remember me. Since I was last here I lost my scrapbooking mojo An "old" Newbie Affraid An "old" Newbie Icon_redface ,turned 29 An "old" Newbie Icon_eek bought a "new" car and spent a month in hospital - I was there for my birthday - lucky me NOT.
Anyways I slipped back to my old ways and wrongly associated my illness (I was sick before I stopped scraping and related being unwell to something that's so positive and would have helped towards my healing). As of a couple of weeks ago I started scraping again - or trying to An "old" Newbie Icon_cheers . I've done 3 partial layouts but I'm not really sure anymore how to tell if I'm finished or not.
I've sorted through my supplies - OMG are there ever supplies An "old" Newbie Icon_redface An "old" Newbie Icon_razz and "organised" them in hope of finding inspiration. I still have my hang ups on using photos LOL - I know I can get copies I just need to "get over it" LOL.
I hope to find some familiar faces in here and of course meet some new people too and find inspiration.
Cheers AuraScrap An "old" Newbie Icon_biggrin

Welcome (back) aboard!! Smile I'm glad you have signed up again!! There are lots of friendly and encouraging people here, so i am sure you will slip right back into your scrapping with the encouragement these ladies give. If you are unsure if a page is finished, why not load it into the gallery and see what the ladies think. I'm sure they can give some helpful hints and tips if you are in need of any!! Smile If you need anything else, be sure to yell out, as there is always somebody about who will be able to help!! Smile

Hey great you are back!!! So nice to meet you....if you need anything just hollar....I sure hope that you find your feet again real soon, its tough being ill, had my share of that lately. Scrapping is a great outlet and a great healer and time will generally help too......I'm really, as I'm sure the rest of the girls are too, looking forward to seeing your work!! If you are really stuck try a couple of easy sketches and add to them, that is generally a great way to get back into it!!

Thanks for the warm welcome Vicki, Megan & Kathie An "old" Newbie Icon_biggrin I already can't wait to get started! An "old" Newbie Icon_smile

Ummmmm a bit more about me.I come from Tenterfield (on/quite close to the NSW/QLD border) just think of the famous Peter Allan. I graduated from uni with a Bachelor of Social Science 2 years ago (I did the whole course externally). I have 2 casual jobs - a contract cleaner at a busy motel as well as a librarian assistant. I love competitions An "old" Newbie Icon_cheers ,reading, spending time with my maltese terrier & doing That's Life/Take 5 puzzles. I was involved in a project called "Journeys" which involved in raising money to allow us to publish a book for consumers/carers of those with mental illness.A friend, myself, the then mental health worker "interviewed" those involved to help them start their stories. The end product was a published book and a greater awareness of mental health in our community.
