Scrapbooking Weekend Retreat - Gold Coast!!!

Option One – Set up your space, scrapbook all weekend
(anytime from 2pm on Friday to 4pm on Sunday), stopping only to eat, drink and sleep, enjoying the company of like-minded people (includes 2 x dinners/2 x breakfasts/2 x morning and afternoon teas/optional classes/lucky door prizes and give-aways).

Option Two - If you would like to mix it up a bit,
here are some suggestions for your itinerary…You could check in on Friday afternoon and set up for a fabulous weekend of scrapbooking, have a rest or relax in the comfort of your fully self-contained unit, or take a walk along the beautiful Surfers Paradise Beach which is only 100 metres from the apartment complex.

At around 5pm the Surfers Paradise Beach Markets kick
off. Why not take your time and browse through the markets – there is so much to see and you are sure to find something for everyone. Return to your Trickett Street Apartment and enjoy your dinner. Saviour your dessert before you start scrapping again, or save it for later. You have the option of participating in a class during the evening where you can create a double page layout (see equipment required below for what to
bring). Tea, Coffee and Hot Chocolate is provided so you can scrap until you can scrap no more…Return to your unit, snuggle up and sleep, sleep in if you want to…Or you can stay and scrap the whole night through – it’s all up to you.

On Saturday morning wake to the sound of waves crashing
on the beach…Enjoy a barbequed breakfast of bacon, eggs and toast served at 7.30am downstairs in the barbeque area, and prepare for a fabulous day…

You can start scrapping as soon as you are ready or you
can take a walk (or run) along The Esplanade or the beach and soak up the sun. Take a dip if you want to, the water will revitalise you!

Morning Tea will be served at around 10.00am and lunch
will be served at around 12.30pm.

After lunch settle in for some serious scrapbooking. Another optional class will be offered from 2pm (single page).
Afternoon Tea will be served at around 3pm and you can have your dinner and dessert when it suits you…

Scrap late into the night or go to bed early, the choice is yours… There will be another class offered for those who might be looking for some inspiration (a double page layout). This class will be run by guest scrapbook designer, Cindy Bishop.

Wake up on Sunday to the sounds of palm trees swaying
in the breeze and the scent of the sea. Take your time over breakfast of cereal, toast and fruit. Once you have packed your suitcase, and checked out of your room, you can move your gear to the scrapbooking room where it will be secure.

Now, the day is yours to savour…You might want to make
the most of the scrapbooking opportunity and scrap the day away (you can scrap right up until 4pm!). Alternatively, you
can do a little scrapping, enjoy some shopping, grab a coffee at a local cafe, take a walk, go for a swim, make the most of the location and enjoy an afternoon of Sun, Surf and Sand at the beach, take a trip to the mountains…The possibilities are endless and the choice is yours…Lunch will be served at
around midday, and afternoon tea at 2pm.

Whatever you decide to do, you will be ready to head
home refreshed after treating yourself to a great weekend!!!
